You are confusing me with someone who might actually care what you are posting inspector drivel. I check and double check everything before I make any trading decision. I do not need a plod like you to tell me what to do and will continue in that vein. Thanks for trying to save me from my self I feel so much better now. Oops - I was being sarcastic. Berwick Law...LOL. Law...hahahaha.

Thx WG. I agree.

Evening All
(and especially Hedgebetter)

The FACT is that the the two supply vessels did NOT return to Walvis bay and are still at the rig
That may or may not be significant. I have no idea but Jimmy seemed to think it WAS very significant when he stated otherwise. I am by the way heavily invested in Nimbian oil exploration companies but find investing is best done through untinted spectacles and sceptically rather than via the communal enthusiasm of an uncritical and somewhat inebriated supporters club. If you prefer the later approach then go ahead.

Watch how you go now.

I actually agree with you for once WG. Jeez - I must be getting soft.

Evening officer Berwick - 'self appointed policeman' - LOL - I think you missed that post by someone who nailed what I was thinking at the time I read your post.

$135M is nothing for an acquisition. I can drill a well for that. The fact this has not tanked today is a good sign. As someone on another BB pointed out - all this information needs to be taken together. A good sign IMO.

HRT were going to give the market news of the farm-in partner, before the results of Wingat.

Should be 3 bits of news now.

Farm-in partner

Results of HRT 11

Results for Wingat.

The lines are getting blurred.

Copied from iii
Exactly you have made my point

On May 4th 17.44 you posted
"The vessels are the Maerskl Shipper and the Maersk Traveller. Both vessels left Walvis Bay late on 3rd May and have recently returned to Walvis Bay." Posted May 4th 17.44
(You then went on to construct from this a highly dubious speculation re results of the drilling)

But it's not true Jimmy is it ?

They did not leave Walvis bay late on May 3rd did they ?
In fact Maersk Traveller has been at the rig since at least the 1st and is STILL there
Maerski Shipper arrived at the rig late on the 3rd from further South than Walvis Bay and appears to be STILL at the rig.
Neither ship returned to Walvis Bay on the 3rd May

And the other stuff is a strong rumour (still no proper souces)is it ?

Berwicklaw

It was late last night when you raised your questions.

Firstly let me say that my comments were clearly stated as a Rumour, not confirmed fact. The reason that I posted it at all was because I had heard it earlier in the week from private sources as a rumour, not fact. Because the rumour was about GAS and not oil , it could be mis interpreted by some as being bad news. There are many explanations for gas in in the expected geology, some of which could be seriously mis interpreted by our short friends. As the markets were and are closed, and the fact that this information had been posted by others on certain BB sites, I felt it appropriate to comment on a rumour that has not been confirmed. In addition the previous comment by MM that aboyut the depth of drilling, the Bloomberg article about the well hitting TD soon, indicated to me that such rumours were worthy of comment. Isnt that what a BB is for, to discuss these issues.

With regard to sources.
The information on the location of the anchor handling vessels were obtained from.
1.
2.

Unusual to have both anchor handling vessls out of port at the same time during drilling operations.

There were a few comments on both stockhouse BB for HRT and LSE for Chariot refering to a so called reliable poster from Brazil who posted about the Wingat well. GUSMARAN.

It was the combination of all these factors combined with unverified information from private usual reliable sources, that prompted me to post, and my comments are heavily cautioned that its a non verified rumour. Just as well the markets are closed as I would be accused of market manipulation as well.

There is NO independent source of this "rumour" on the Brazilian site.(or anywhere else for that matter) Look yourself Google will translate. In the absence of any evidence to the contrary I am inclined to suspect the obvious.

Fair enough swooped. You are right in that people need to be very careful.

is where part of the story seems to have emanated. A guy called Gusmaran from Brazil who it is said is to HRT what Jimmy is to CHAR - in other words - he knows an awful lot about the geology of the HRT acreage. You would need to join his board and translate - its in Portuguese. It was said on LSE by grizzle that the guy also knows Mello...who knows....the markets and the RNS when it comes will let people decide..

I have already explained why it bothers me, the same as it bothers others about other posters when they continually deramp a share with a manipulative agenda, I personally have no doubt that HRT may find oil, I hope they do, but I would rather see a share move because it has solid reason too, rather than through rumour manipulation. I also particularly dislike when the rumours are so blatantly conducted by someone that has gained a boards trust but does not reveal the source, is it because the source is themselves?

Anyway this has gone on too long, I've made my thoughts known in an open and honest way, answered a few questions, so no more from me on the subject.

Pooped. Swooped. Whatever. The drill was never going to be complete at Wingat by end of next week IMO. Mello's comments were that he would know some results - probaby Ncoma. The Journo got overexcited IMO. My guess is they are still drilling towards Wingat but have some information on Ncoma - who knows?

As far as Jimmy is concerned - he has let us know his thoughts each step of the way, guys like you swoop in out of the blue and never contribute to the discussion until then. There is nothing you can say or do that will affect the outcome of what happens on the Bovespa or Toronto exchange re HRT, and its a Bank holiday in the UK as you know. Grab a beer and watch from the sidelines...

swooped,

why should it bother you?

Do you hold any Char shares?

You have gone to the trouble to post on lse--iii and here???

HRT seem pretty confident about finding Oil in one of their up and coming drills in Namibia.3D seismic is a wonderful thing.

and whats your agenda swooped??? you're posting counter-rumour on every available site.

my user username on iii is creditcrunch, but i don't often post on that forum, my username on Advfn and Lse is moneymunch.

I have £10k's worth of TRP at an average of 1.6p and so i have a vested interest in what happens with HRT...and as such i'm becoming rather excited at the possibilty of positive news this afternoon which could see my investment in significant profit come Tuesday (that's all that concerns me, apart from world peace and all that etc) !!! GL ;-)

ps I'm normally in Biotech these days and have high hopes for SUMM, worth watching , their potential and prospects are truly amazing imho..;-)
