06/5/2013 08:48 | so what we'll find out soon enough | ![]() kiwimonk
06/5/2013 08:44 | Again NO your comment: "3. Rumors surface that have some specific information "Strong rumours that the wingat well has encountered carbonates with circa 30 % porosity"." There are NO strong rumours, do not take waht is a rumour from ONE person as now starting to be a a given, there is ONE rumour and that ONE rumour has been copied from iii to ADVFN and LSE. when asked where the rumour came from Jimmy said from another BB, and when pressed for the BB he said he was tired and had no time to post now, however the post he wrote saying he had no time was longer than it would have taken to just give the answer. Its a rumour started by one person. | swooped
06/5/2013 07:49 | no smoke without fire....we should find out soon enough, and if Gas, will still be good for sentiment and Char's and Trp's prosepects...GL ;-) Here's what we know; 1. Bloomburg publishes an article on Thursday evening/Friday morning stating HRT would have well results on Wingat-1 by the end of the week 2. Friday's share price drops 7 cents (USD) on triple normal volume 3. Rumors surface that have some specific information "Strong rumours that the wingat well has encountered carbonates with circa 30 % porosity". 'A gas hit makes sense with the lower than expected volume for a duster. I imagine we'll know for sure when the BOVESPA opens. Read more at Brazil and the UK and Friday's HRT share price action Are actually from drilling into Nocoma not Wingat ? Drilling time would be ~ correct. Petroleum system, perhaps Nat Gas higher in the oil kitchen and liquids further down ? 30% porosity would be awesome, clearly a petroleum system that prevented the carbonates from cementing together. Drill deep, find oil Read more at | ![]() moneymunch
06/5/2013 07:24 | Yes, what happens one person says he has heard a rumour, lol probably his own rumour repeated by others, designed for what reason, maybe get a few excited, spread the excitement until you have a critical mass, then bam add to the rumour, share price moves a bit which people recognise as there will always be one 'MikeyAdmin' type around, a few jump in not wishing to miss the boat then a few more then before you know it you have a classic pump and dump, with of course the person that started it all cleaning up. Those that are caught complain and the rumour starter just states 'sorry guys look at my earlier posts I did say not to rely on it, it was only a rumor, sob sob...don't shoot the messenger! man exits stage left rubbing his hands, the wry smile not giving the game away........oh I love AIM. | swooped
05/5/2013 22:35 | LOL Trp's prospects are confirmed to be bigger and better than any other's off shore Namibia....their current share price is under 1.4p....if Hrt results are good,Trp's share price will go through the roof....my average their is 1.6p, so no matter how many chill pills I take, i can't help but feel very excited..GL :-) | ![]() moneymunch
05/5/2013 22:16 | if there is news tomorrow, uk market cannot react til tues...folk getting too hung up on the wingat result imo this is the first of 4 planned (and funded) drills for hrt - and then others are drilling in the next 9/12 months - (inc char) oil exploration and discovery is an involved and lengthy process...some need to take a chill pill | ![]() jnbrw
05/5/2013 21:57 | Nice 1 Donald, fingers crossed for positive news.....could be the best bank holiday Monday for some time......Trp was taken down by a couple of trades for 1m and .6m, hardly suggests inside knowledge of a duster.......looking forward to a massive re-rating Tuesday and onwards and upwards thereafter. 05/5/2013 20:23 | So, I assume you trust Jimmmbo's roomer. ------ Going to be an interesting week. Don't hold your breath though, this could just be the opening shots. Does not matter, the game is on. | ![]() wild_goose

05/5/2013 11:45 | Back in the day the oilers did not have the technology they have today. 3D Seismics in particular have come a long way.so too has oil seap analysis, and chemical profiling. So the presumption that it will take as many drills in Namibia is in all likelihood incorrect. In addition, all of those companies in Namibia right now, with the geophysicisits, geologists, money men - who as you rightly point out have the backing of $100M per well - and some...are not likely to be doing this for charitable purposes. They want to strike oil. The upside to each $100M drill is mind boggling in terms of return and that is why they undertake such operations. There are many more drills to comef rom HRT, and many more operators who are still buying into Namibian acreage and are queiing up with plans to drill. I suspect they have done their research - and know the risks. On the other hand all I see on this board are bunch of de-rampers who know next to nothing about this industry jumping up and down, eager to get to their keyboards at 6am in the morning to write off HRT, Chariot, Serica and all the others. | donald tramp
05/5/2013 11:43 | Following are excerpts from comments by Chariot's CEO and others (identified): * We learned technically an enormous amount from our wells and that has significantly refocused where it is that we're addressing our exploration," Bottomley said in an interview in Namibia's capital, Windhoek. "We happen to be in areas where we're looking for elephants, so looking for giant fields. * * Namibia is a frontier area: it is unproven to have material accumulations of hydrocarbons to date, but we believe that's just a function of drilling density and exploration maturity * * All it would take would be somebody to unravel the secret, what it is that makes Namibia work and there'll be a whole significant follow-up potential * Chariot says it's * identified a potential find off southern Namibia and plans to process more seismic data at the site next year * * It's still a very immature exploration province and it's a proven petroleum system... it took 22 wells in the North Sea for the first discovery and I think it was about 26 wells in the Gulf of Mexico * That was yesteryear, offshore drilling, 1 out of 8 found commercial hydrocarbons. With 3D seismic, now it's 1 out of 3 Do the math...Wingat....Moo | donald tramp

04/5/2013 20:55 | The HRT wingat well is being supplied by two supply boat/anchor handsling vessels, which are also use to tow the vessel from one location to another. The vessels are the Maerskl Shipper and the Maersk Traveller. Both vessls left Walvis Bay late on 3rd May and have recently returned to Walvis Bay. So clearly the well has not finished, otherwise the boats would be readying to mobilise the Rig to its next location. Jimmy on iii | hedgebetter
04/5/2013 19:19 | There is growing suspicion, that Larry is a BP poodle, it is not a new theory. He has pushed everything back into 2014, and will no doubt push it back further. Are you telling mme, he is gagging to get a farm-partner, lol. | ![]() wild_goose |
