The one ray of hope is that Shell bough First Utility and that begs the question.....why!!??Shell are no dummies and they know full well of Labours intentions and shrinking margins.Surely CNA have all the infrastructure in place so maybe Shell could simply upgrade after testing the water or maybe BP might step in?

Yes we do forget the money we made out of the company in the past. If I had a few thousand here I would not take a get deal of notice. When we put a lot of money in a company and do all the research first , that's the maddening thing here. It all looked so positive a couple of years ago. The top investors nearly all say you should have only 2% in any one company or in other words have at least 50 companies. I think the most I have had at one time is 15. If you only have 2% in a company it does safeguard your loses if one collapses so it does make sense

I guess CNA are on people's radar but why bid for a company that obviously on its knees. If we get the full picture on Tuesday and all the cards are laid out then someone might well take a look. A low ball offer could well be excepted by managing but at what cost to shareholders who hold them considerably higher.
