Does not really bother me either way but am not prepared to waste more time waiting if they contact me they can come when I'm in anyway. Lifes to short to wait in for stuff like this!

tim3, my partner was having one fitted but they also didn't turn up, no doubt sub contractors to the power company who she contacted...and she got a compensation payment.

Just look at the header long term chart since July/Aug 2018 around 160p...fall followed by consolidation...some sort of move up/down is due shortly as price is becoming stale now...news on asset disposal with rebasing of divi news could be the final capitulation...

They have told me they are fitting a smart meter on 4 separate dates now never turned up once.Will not wait in again.

Smart meter installation rates have fallen for a third quarter as the £11 billion rollout continues to lose pace.

Only 1.03 million gas and electricity smart meters were installed by large energy suppliers in the three months to March, down by 22 per cent from the peak of 1.32 million in the fourth quarter of 2017, official figures show.

Smart meters take gas and electricity usage readings and automatically send the data back to suppliers. They also enable households to track their usage in real-time via in-home displays, which is supposed to encourage people to use less energy.

Energy suppliers are obliged by law to try to install meters in every home by 2020, requiring about 50 million in total. The programme has been plagued…

Smart meters all about screwing us for every little penny..

Why, because we are overpopulated and the resources available need to be rationed tightly whereas before they didn't.

Expect it to get worse as the UK's population increases.

Infrastructure not being built up alongside this unfettered population increase

i have been with bg for over 50 years no problems just fixed my energy till oct 21

I have had to tell them not to put my over payment into my bank account they put it back in my account ever sept , so have now told them again to leave it in my bg account I like to be well infront its my way /


nortic div in bag and only now 5p down on my holdings I just keep buying on any dips under 93p
