that i can well understand

i do hope you have not put everything into centrica

my family run our portfolios of many shares but there are some dogs that luckily pay dividends atleast

looking for the day they become pedigrees again and run like greyhounds

on this thread i really abhor those marking reasonable posts down or worthless posts attacking others

jp...your beliefs on a BB are very mis guided...you can pick any number you like to tell us you have 100k, 1 mln or 1 bln shares...I assume none of us have seen the contract note of purchases or sells...and I don't expect you to paste here either...very little point in telling us how many shares you have...or how much profit/loss you have made...you get my drift...after all this is just a free BB and not a personal private BB...

diku, why are you so negative about everybody and different companies. You sound like somebody that's been doing this for a couple of years. I consider myself good, but their are a lot more out there that know more than me. How much have you ever purchased ? I the last 6 years mine goes into tens of millions pounds. I don't get it right all the time but I have made profit on over 95% of my purchases have you ??

Yes, their are a lot of new investors on here. If you want to go back and look at my posts I have put on here more than most. A few of you have a few pound in CNA, I still have 100k shares . If I thought this company was no go I would have sold them a long time ago.

Adrian, Nortic brings more to this thread than anybody. He has probably the best insight what’s happening. And I was a trader for about 3 years and purchased many millions of pounds, so that should tell you something

Adrian, Nortic brings more to this thread than anybody. He has probably the best insight what's happening. And I was a trader for about 3 years and purchased many millions of pounds, so that should tell you something

BRITISH Gas owner Centrica has launched a new power tariff for business customers looking to charge their electric vehicles as the UK prepares for the switch to plug-in cars.

More than three quarters of firms plan to change to electric vehicles (EVs), Centrica said yesterday as it launched an EV product aimed at companies.

Its business unit has already installed more than 17,000 charging points across the UK since 2012, but it is now working with sister company British Gas to offer a business EV tariff powered by renewable energy.

It has also begun work to electrify its 14,000 vehicles which form the thirdlargest commercial fleet in the UK. Centrica is responding to demand, with the number of new electric vehicles in the UK jumping 55 per cent year-on-year so far in 2019, according to recent data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

The government has pledged to end the sale of petrol and diesel cars by 2040, but is now being urged to bring the date forward five years in a bid to drive emissions to net zero by 2050. Jorge Pikunic, who leads Centrica Business Solutions, said: "The adoption of electric vehicles is no longer a question for tomorrow.

"For businesses, the transition to EV is a big opportunity."
