22/2/2019 10:33 | Who are these "million loss making customers" and where have they gone to? If their new suppliers can make a profit from them, why can't British Gas? | ![]() grahamite2
22/2/2019 10:17 | BG has over the year let go nearly a million loss making customers , Why ? Because they were not making a profit on them or making a loss. Hopefully it’s just the ones they make a profit staying . It would be a massive gamble to fix prices for two years. Who knows what the wholesale price of gas or electricity will be ,Dollar - GBP exchange rate. Or where inflation is heading. To mitigate those uncertainties you would have to price it in to your fix term rate which in return would make the 2 year fixed contract uncommercial. | ![]() whatsup32
22/2/2019 10:11 | BG SHOULD GO FORWARD AND AVE ONE TARIFF FOR ALL . NOT A MINE FIELD , IT WOULD BRING IN MORE CUSTOMERS | ![]() portside1

22/2/2019 10:02 | What’s the point of getting 2.7m new customers if they are at a loss. Better to get rid of loss making customers and concentrate on profit makers. Turnover is vanity , profit is sanity . Credit ..MR Conn | ![]() whatsup32
22/2/2019 09:51 | if BG announced a freeze on their prices for the next 2 years they would get over 2.7m new customers . conn must not see the wood for the trees | ![]() portside1
22/2/2019 09:51 | Tangible assets shrink globally. Customer numbers reduce, net debt increases, new operating model is still few years away, political pressure get more intense Very little gain is expected short term Still too risky to hold for long term DIOR... | ![]() 338
22/2/2019 09:29 | Centrica will remain a political football, whilst it has a large customer base. To derisk this, it would be prudent to invest more in the supply side.Transco and BG group probably worth x10 1997 price, whilst centrica x2. (With Similar divi over time). | svenice7
