At first glance we are stuck in a trend channel between 140 and 150. However we are seeing higher lows. Could be something could be just coincidence. Good Luck.

Hopeing to buy back in around £1.40

I'm just hoping coming up to the Winter months this isn't going to end up being another Groundhog Day with all the news of Labour will do this and Labour will do that.

Could end up going lower than £1.40 if it gets any more heated, I just hope it doesn't.

Kier Starmer. Never forget it was a conservative Prime Minister that failed to sack him.

Yes, unfortunately the quality of our political parties and MP's is the lowest I can ever remember in my life. We basically don't have a true Conservative Party just a pink imitation which has been dragged to the left as Labour has moved far left. In fact the only party which represents the majority of our indigenous people is now UKIP. As a Tory member I was actually impressed by the speeches at their recent conference but sadly, like the Libdems, a vote for them is basically wasted unless we move to a system of proportional representation, since as Nigel Farage proved, even at their peak they couldn't win an MP. Populist parties across Europe are making gains which can never happen here meaning we're stuck with two left wing major parties, neither of which will stand up for truly British people.

yup, its got a lot of debt, and, all the best indigenous talent leaves, but its ok cos we can grow the economy with endless immigration from third world countries, bringing all their best talent here where they cant speak a word of english and they give typhoid to everyone they touch...but we can rent our substandard housing to them and claim the rent from the benefits agency...so house prices go up and everything is great...

Democracy would indeed be dead if we were to have a people's vote until the people vote the CORRECT way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moderate Labour could appeal to the masses with a charismatic leader aka Tony Blair' but this hard left Labour surely are crazy as hell. Dianne Abbot doing the numbers....is this actually a comedy show. The UK deserves a decent opposition.

All politicians, (whether Labour,Conservative, Liberal or Other Parties) bribe the electorate with (other) taxpayer's money.

Vote for us and we'll give you everything. Someone else will pay.

And most people will accept it.

The following was attributed to an American President

"A democracy can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses."

If labour did get in i wonder what price for CNA????? Nationalisation could take years. The government would be tied up in knots with endless court cases and pension funds sueing on behalf of clients effected.
In fact most company valuations would dissapear around the U bend if this mob of lefties get any where near govt.
imho

I agree with all of that supermarky but I think you're making a mistake dismissing the way Labours support is growing. The Tories are doing everything possible to alienate the electorate whilst Labour are constantly sucking up to every man and his dog. The saddest thing is, even the young Labour women MPs are unaware of the way they are being "played" by McDonnel in particular. He's the dangerous one not Corbyn who is himself also being "played". The Labour Party has now been totally infiltrated and taken over by the left, just as the unions were in the seventies and eighties before Maggie led the public to curb them. I can only hope that once minds are off Brexit, they reveal themselves for the scum they are and old and young see through them but my fear is that the stupidity and internal wrangling of the Tories gifts Labour a chance to take power before that happens.

Yes warranty, I don't know anybody around me over 40 who voted Labour. Like you said it's such a left wing party at the moment and the younger voters like them. If it was people in this country under 40 that voted I would think they would get in easy

I do not think public opnion is with Labour. I think it is a case of whoever is in government is unpopular and the opposition are the true voice of the people and can save us from the people hating "for the few' government. Labour are just as much a shambles as the Tories with the added benefit of policies from cloud cooko land. Many Labour people voted for brexit. Of course all those who voted brexit are thick old people who were misinformed and lied to (they are also selfish for castigating poor young people into a life outside the blissful EU. The remain side never misinformed or lied. It is cool to be a remain person......where the he'll did that come from????? Someone is doing a wonderful spin job in the media. Viva brexit and be proud of it. For goodness sake can we please ha e some self respect as a nation and some bloody confidence?

For a long time jpg I have totally discounted the possibility of Corbyn winning an election but after watching and listening to McDonnel today at the Labour conference, I have to say that for the first time I am getting really worried. I know and you know, as anyone of a certain age knows the disaster that would await us if it were to happen but looking at the age profile attending the conference and bearing in mind that nobody under 40 really has any experience of a Socialist Government and how nasty and devastating the left can be, they can look amazingly credible. Even my own nephew, a senior manager with BAE voted Labour at the last election, so anythings possible.

With the Tories totally committed to fighting amongst themselves over Brexit they have completely taken their eye off the ball on all of the other major areas affecting the country. Hopefully, if TM can agree a deal with the EU and get through to 2022 there will be an opportunity to refocus but if they do call a snap election or May loses a confidence vote I fear the worst. Public opinion is certainly not with the Tories, Leaver or Remainer and the perfect storm could just allow Labour in by default.
