It looks like it may be already in the price . I’m in America, they have been preparing for the Hurricane to hit North/South Carolina for about a week. Due to hit land soon. On TV Lowes just said they shipped 800 trucks to the area. And Home Depot also working all out.

I’m all in TUI losing as quickly as I can . If I wasn’t I would consider FERGUSON. It’s also stamp duty free.

Nice to see a close above 150p, hopefully build on this during the week, Brexit negotiations have improved, could they have got any worse, Boris Johnson IMO is just an idiot & he proved it over the weekend with that Mail on Sunday article, his political career is toast now IMO Corbyn mania has peaked & he’s an antique, like Boris he is just out of touch with the general public, all good news for Centrica I reckon so I’m gonna keep holding up to the dividend & see where the share price is at.In Conn/May we trust 🙏

Well I need to evaluate suppliers and today ran a Uswitch search and low and behold BG came up as one of the top ten suppliers so seem to be more competitive.

Analysts were saying sell Royal Mail at the bottom, when there was trouble at mill. They're not immune from fear and they're certainly not contrarian.

Centrica (CNA.L), meanwhile, posted the best performance with a 5 percent gain. The energy supplier's jump in value came as Britain's regulator proposed a price cap on default energy bills to save households about a billion pounds ($1.3 billion) a year. It aims to implement the cap in time for winter as the government seeks to deliver on a promise to tackle "rip-off" prices."A price cap that will limit the amount Centrica's British Gas operation can charge customers hardly seems like cause for celebration, but the key point is that it will address the uncertainty that has dogged the stock in the last couple of years", said Russ Mould, an investment director at AJ Bell."There's nothing the market hates more than a lack of clarity, and now the level of the price cap is known analysts can reflect it in their earnings estimates."

Just to bring a little perspective into the discussion. We can but hope that there are better days ahead

"A price cap which will limit the amount Centrica's British Gas operation can charge customers hardly seems like cause for celebration, but the key point is that it will address the uncertainty which has dogged the stock in the last couple of years," commented Russ Mould, investment director at AJ Bell

Probably a broker upgrade or two today after the cap. May see small gains from here into the divi. Good Luck.

The commentary from 26.20 minutes/seconds in may be of interest to some here. I have been an investor since the beginning here but with only a minute holding.

All us cna investors are weary after years of decline. Could this possibly be the cpr to reawaken cna shares? Positive thinking and patience!
