political risk is one reason.
another is aggressive regulatory risk.
a perfect storm.

May promising to cap energy bills, not understanding the loss making special offers made by competitors.
These teaser rates were not sustainable, and are not much different from interest free holidays for credit card holders who switch banks. But they leave the impression that loyal customers were being ripped off.

Hoping that a sensible regulation will result, giving cna a chance of a fair return.
Many meetings on this topic have been held which by now should be understood.

The irony is that Conn and his team have to wait and hope as we shareholders do.
Maybe the clln shambles will change the attitude. Keeping large, important companies strong that employ thousands of people is important.

Hoping to see a bit of a rise today, SSE xdiv tomorrow ( 28.4p -2.13% ) I would have thought they would be going up well and pulling CNA with them, they are down a little. A sobering thought CNA were 2.15p a year ago, whatever happened to us to to have such a low share price ??

We are really not interested in your "Victor Meldrew" rants about everything under the sun. Just spare us from your endless diatribes, take an asprin and lie down before you have a coronary!

Utilities will look closely at their cash reserves after the CLLN disaster.
CNA should pay what they can afford.
HMG should regulate them fairly.
investment should be a long term game, not a Casino.

Any removal of dividend would be a disaster for the sp, because what is left ? A large business, not growing, so what investment category does that leave ? Only one ripe for takeover imo.

Early afternoon in America and natural gas is already up 4% . That’s around 14% in he last two days. Can’t see it reflected in the share price.

Yes susiebe, I think we can see how undervalued the company is, this company just has to convince other shareholders how good a buy it is at the share price This is where Mr conn should earn his money !! :o)
