We currently expect to report 2020 full year adjusted earnings per share from continuing and discontinued operations(1) ahead of current market consensus(2) . 2020 closing Group net debt is expected to be approximately GBP2.8bn, a reduction of over 10% in the year. This is before including

net proceeds of GBP2.7bn from the sale of Direct Energy (which closed on 5 January 2021), the bulk of which will be used to reduce net debt and make a contribution to the Group's defined benefit pension schemes.

The Company is due to release its 2020 Preliminary Results on 25 February 2021.

the bulk of the the GBP2.7 BILLION sales proceeds will apparently be used to reduce net debt and make a contribution to the Group's defined benefit pension schemes.

SO a dividend not out of the question but will it be much

Just to remind all investors that the not so CLEVERINVESTER sold CNA at 50p a few weeks back IT WAS ON HiS OWN POST HERE ON CNA CHAT. He said ‘i sold out of this dog’.. He’s over on SAGA telling everyone he bought CNA at 31P!! What a TUCK UP!!!! The lowest it’s been since was 49.5p so if he did buy back in 49.5p was the lowest since. HUGELY EMBARRASSING trying to big himself up. Caught with his knickers down again. Just Check his own posts. Ah ha ha ha ha ha. He needs to stick to Celine Dion.

Cleverinvestor.......a divi you say! FFS that is what killed CNA last time.....hopefully no divi for at least a year if you are keen on CNA surviving! Shows how little you really know....you should be called thikoinvestor.
Anyway I am not a divi chaser as too much tax to pay on them when earning in the high tax band.
