16/2/2016 07:43 | Modform - I agree with the sentiments above - the dispassionate views of a sensible poster are often insightful. | glaws2
15/2/2016 22:21 | The poor placing: due to lack of experience and bad advice? The award incentives: due to lack of experience, natural greed and good advice? The PR type RNS: That's a bit unfair. I think they may well have been proud of the registration figures and felt that a milestone had been reached...and it WAS signalled as a Non-regulatory RNS. Remember that this is a wee, tiny company in a very specialised market area. The directors are not expected to be of the calibre of ARM, say. I still fancy the chart and expect them to double in the next nine months. | horneblower
15/2/2016 21:33 | No modform, you really should! The most objective view is from someone who doesn't hold. The number of times I have sold a share and suddenly seen more clearly..... Buffy | buffythebuffoon
15/2/2016 20:44 | modform: it is always good to get the views of someone who is looking objectively at a stock without prejudice. | saucepan
15/2/2016 18:26 | Sorry guys, I shouldn't really make any comments about a share I have no position, apologies | modform
15/2/2016 15:20 | Can't please everyone but I'm happy with a 100% return. | battlebus2
15/2/2016 14:57 | Yes modform, but apart from the poor placing favouring certain investors, the spin in the RNS and the excessive director options, why do you think they are not interested in creating value for all their shareholders? 🤔 Buffy | buffythebuffoon
15/2/2016 14:39 | They are not interested in creating value for shareholders. The poor placing, the awarded incentives, the PR type rns, all imo | modform
15/2/2016 14:20 | Why do you hate the management? Seems to me they're doing a damn good job... | battlebus2
15/2/2016 13:55 | Yes cfro, love the company, hate the management. A good horse needs a good jockey, and the reason I haven't invested yet | modform
15/2/2016 13:45 | So still a lot of confusion here re what these numbers mean revenue wise then. | cfro
15/2/2016 13:26 | I find it really annoying when a company puts out an RNS with some publicly available data to try and boost the share price which doesn't say anything about revenue or profit or how well they will do compare to market expectation.Just a bit of PR, I have no position atm | modform
15/2/2016 11:53 | Just for the avoidance of doubt - my £2.50 was no more than an educated guess. No position at the moment although, with the reservations noted by Saucepan above, I like the company. | glaws2
15/2/2016 11:48 | Agreed it's difficult to quantify without related earnings. I wonder if they will even be getting as much as £2.50 per domain. You can currently buy .xyz domains for as little as 99p for the first year: | homebrewruss
15/2/2016 11:34 | Can anybody here say they know what CNIC make for wholesale or retail sales. I'm out of CNIC at the moment, but have them on my watchlist. Hearing about sales is only of interest or any use when you can relate them to earnings. I was a bit put off by the boards' options, but accept that in the grand scheme of things that won't matter if earnings dwarf them. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
15/2/2016 11:16 | As the wholesaler, CNIC will get the least amount, which may be as little as £2.50 but I hope is more than that. Even so, 1 million extra sales in 3 months is still worth an extra £25M pa at £2.50 a pop which is a pretty good number considering their total turnover was only £6M for year ended 12/2014. What were their expectations? | horneblower
15/2/2016 11:08 | Seems to me though that they are only earning peanuts from the majority of the domains registered. I wondered too if there might be a few thousand on the books that they are earning nothing at all from? Edit - not trying to put a negative spin on them, only trying to come to grips with how money is made here . | cfro
15/2/2016 10:43 | Yep we still have a seller in the market I believe. From what i can see the average is £32.50 a year but of course there are those that fetch multiples of that. | battlebus2
15/2/2016 10:37 | As little as that? Two of the three 10k trades were mine and despite going through at near the bid they were both buys. | horneblower
15/2/2016 10:21 | You can buy an xyz domain for £10 per annum - I assume the majority of this will go to the retail operation - so perhaps 2.50 for the backend operator ? | glaws2
15/2/2016 10:10 | A few sells going through.... | battlebus2
15/2/2016 10:01 | Retail domains are around £30 per annum. My estimate would be a tenner pa therefore an extra £10M income pa. minimum. | horneblower
15/2/2016 09:42 | That is a very good question made and an answer i fail to find myself. | cfro
15/2/2016 09:16 | ANy idea how that 3m can be quantified in £m? | adamb1978
15/2/2016 07:52 | Good news indeed bb :-) | cheshire man |
