25/3/2024 12:45 | Happy with those results, especially given the low metal prices last year. This year should be better. Delighted with 9p final dividend. Not expecting anything from the Aberdeen exploration, but it's not a material amount of money. More likely to find something in their own backyard in Kaz. Well done CAML. | bozzy_s
25/3/2024 12:38 | Any exploration should be done in Kazakhstan not Scotland - a bad move for me. There should be many more opportunities there so why couldn't the board identify or acquire any licences - seems very odd. | scrwal
25/3/2024 11:52 | I don't like the itchy feet with respect to doing a deal. Absolutely nothing wrong with getting the ore out of the ground and generating a stream of dividends whilst exploring better extraction at current sites. | briggs1209
25/3/2024 10:53 | I like it (Arthrath). 10,000m of drilling should be enough to see if there is anything there. Nickel/Copper sulphides are the holy grail. EST are very Australian and may not be amenable to a deal. Takes two to tango ... | mattybuoy
25/3/2024 10:50 | Yes a bit wierd. It made me uncomfortable enough to move to the sidelines for now. Pondering what to do and giving the market some time to see what it thinks. Not really the sort of thing I bought CAML for. I was looking for CAML to buy a working mine as its third leg to ultimately replace Kounrad - not sure about an E&D arm instead. | podgyted
25/3/2024 10:21 | Seems a very strange investment when they have EST right on the door step that I am sure would have relished interest from CAML to fast track copper finds. | soulsauce
25/3/2024 10:12 | They have been looking for so long they probably thought they needed to do something! On the one hand, no problem in setting a high bar in term of acquiring another asset. On the other hand, if nothing gets over the bar, what do you do? The answer this time seems to be "chuck a few £M at a high risk, high return project" Hmmmm | melody9999
25/3/2024 10:00 | It's only 56 years since the deposit was discovered, nothing has yet been produced, and Aberdeen is at least the third company to have a go. Not very promising at first glance. | zangdook
25/3/2024 09:30 | Central Asia x Scotland. Bit weird. | shortcpx
25/3/2024 09:24 | Every days a school day. The Arthrath project is 15 miles from my front door. I might need to arrange a site visit to keep an eye on my investment. | dcarn

25/3/2024 07:25 | Nice 9p Dividend more than expected, and beating all major Miners this year eg BHP,GLEN,and RIO. Also investing in Aberdeen Minerials ! | garycook
25/3/2024 07:22 | I'm a little sceptical about buying into a UK explorer. Have any profitable mines come into production in the UK in the last few decades? | zangdook
25/3/2024 07:17 | Excellent as always and kept the divi with no debt to worry about. Good stuff. | kael

15/3/2024 17:37 | Post 5833 is a good explanation nearly summarised. Results shortly, copper up, institutions adding, prospective dividend yield of 9-10%For me - this fell too far so its just correcting. | rimau1
15/3/2024 17:23 | That doesn't explain the significant rise for CAML: Glencore up 1.92% Antofagasta up 2.04% ATYM up 1.42% KAV up 0.84% | mondex
15/3/2024 16:24 | Copper up. | killing_time
15/3/2024 16:19 | Any thoughts on why there is a >6% rise in the share price today? | mondex

13/3/2024 17:25 | I'd hope they are flexible with their divi payments, with the amount dependent on current trading / cash balances / potential acquisitions etc. Maybe keep $1m or $2m of cash for share buybacks, in case the price becomes ridiculous (not too far from that level IMO.... anything below 120p they should be buying). Anything above 7p divi for H2 would be fine with me. An annual yield of 8.5% while increasing their cash balances. Fingers crossed metals prices continue to recover. Could see more than 14p annual divi in that case. | bozzy_s |
