Centaur Media sees satisfactory H1 sales, margin growth in marketing division

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Centaur Media PLC said it expects to report
satisfactory underlying growth in revenues and margins in its marketing and
creative division in the first half.
The company added in a statement that three of its senior publishing
directors will leave to pursue other opportunities outside the group, following
a strategic review of its publishing operations.
Centaur Media also said Tim Potter, managing director of business
publishing, will take direct responsibility for the key brands in the marketing
and creative division, bringing them under a single management for the first
time.

I agree, they do appear to be dirt cheap. Divi 5.4, covered 2.2 and pe of 9. But why the steady fall in the share price despite a reassuring trading statement a couple of weeks ago? Interims due Feb 28.

That's just one month. Is this normal? Have a lot of people quit, or are these additional jobs?

Been looking at this company for a while and been checkintg out their services / products must admit that this looks very overpriced as a magazine publishing business.

I admit to be a little confused with this one. Evidently I called it completely wrong on previous post as we did get volume and it was almost entirely BUYS. Drop based on relatively small SELLS seems disproportionate. Anybody with a better understanding than me?

I'm a small-time holder. Bought a fortnight ago. Short term this looks like a difficult one to call. Obviously, the lack of volume at this 107-108 resistance would suggest temporary retracement to as low as sub 100p or, similar to the steady rise Dec-Feb, the emergence of volume could see price bob along, gradually upwards above the 18 day average. I'd suggest that volume (or lack of it) will be the key. Mid to long term I think business looks strong. Dips to 95-100 are a definite buying opportunity (for people with more capital than me!)
