I don't even feel bad about tonight. I just don't care anymore and I know loads of Celtic fans who feel the same way. They've totally given up on Europe. We'll just collect the cash and move onto the next match. |
'Cameron Carter-Vickers loses the ball so cheaply and Matteo Guendouzi picks out Pedro at the back post.' |
Lost again of course but only 2-1.
Now a double header with Athletico Madrid coming up. Just hoping they don't get totally embarrassed but they are certain to lose both of these games. They'll definitely lose in Rome so the only chance of getting a point will be at home to Feyenoord. Hopefully they can sneak a draw and avoid total humiliation. |
Celtic v Lazio (20:00)
Celtic XI: Hart, A Johnston, Phillips, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, O'Riley, Hatate, Yang, Kyogo, Maeda.
Substitutes: Bain, Morrison, Palma, Turnbull, Oh, Carter-Vickers, Tomoki, Bernardo, Forrest, Ralston, M Johnston.
-- -ccv back on the bench -if phillips does well, rodgers can maybe rotate between the 3 [scales, ccv] -this time last year the squad would have included starfelt, mooy, jota |
£1.26-£1.25 spread now, win tonight will be worth 15p on share price tomorrow so bit more optimism please Asagi😀 |
£1.25-1.371 to deal 2500, market makers are a disgrace here.
According to the London Stock Exchange website, bid:offer is now 130p:137p... I haven't seen a 7p spread since January when it was 108p:115p!
So let's have a round of applause for the market makers.

you hot-headed fans are part of the problem for us cold-blooded shareholders.
Celtic need to learn how to draw in the Champions League before anyone should be thinking about winning. Lennon knew that. Postecoglou didn't. Rodgers never will.

I hope you're right Mick. Champions League progression for Celtic is the game changer for this club financially. My prediction for this evening;
Celtic 1 Lazio 3
Go on Celtic prove me wrong for once.
Neil Lennon now odds-on favourite for the Rangers job. |
£1.25-1.371 to deal 2500, market makers are a disgrace here. Be interesting tomorrow if we manage 3 points tonight after just about wrapping the league up for a £40m+ booty next year in CL |
lennon relives the lazio double header in 2019 europa league |
Big game tomorrow night.
My take is everyone expects Celtic to finish bottom and to pick up 1 or 2 points in the Group. Lazio should win tomorrow night given Celtic are absolutely rotten in Europe when they play a decent side. Therefore if the impossible happens, and Celtic actually win, then the upside shock to the share price might be significant. |
Neil Lennon and Stuart Kettlewell now joint favourites for the Rangers job. |
Kevin Muscat is the bookies favourite to be their next manager. A guy sometimes cited as the dirtiest player ever lol! He'll fit right in with that mob. |
Bealeball R.I.P.😔 |
this season, since the summer, for the first time, i've been visiting the rangers podcasts/game reviews on youtube
example - 12mins
rangers go to st mirren next weekend which could be very tricky! keep our heads and a st mirren draw?
for the moment, we are seeing the oppo of the 10iar season, celtic are not great, its rangers that are directionless. ccv and scales to put us on a sounder footing in league and cl games 4-5-6 ? |
st johnstone, killie, feyenoord [1st half], 70% possession today
the lesson[s] to be learned are there - accuracy in front of goal AND aiming for just inside the post out of reach of goalie from all angles inside and outside the box - practice practice practice, £20-50k? per week...
[freak game 9-0 dundee utd, virtually every attempt a goal]
1 weak shot on target 1st half -
-- ange 2-1 liverpool [lots of controversial decisions i gather] |
Haksabanovic even scored one today for Stoke as well. Maybe he's a brilliant player that will bring in a huge fee.

Jota is planning a return to Celtic in January, former Parkhead striker Frank McAvennie says he has heard, after the 24-year-old winger was left off Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad's team list following his £25m summer move from the Scottish champions. (Football Insider)
Portuguese winger Jota could be set for a reunion with former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur after the 24-year-old had a request to terminate his Al Ittihad contract terminated rejected as head coach Nuno Espirito Santo is keen to keep him long term. (Sunday Mail) |
