And don't forget Cellcast Asia! - that could be worth 3p+ a share on its own if it's still doing OK. The board seemed pretty excited about the Asian side of the business last time I spoke to them, so hopefully it's still going well.

I wonder when we will get that ofcom decision? It is taking a very long time. If it's favorable and Cellcast do announce they are trading profitably, I could see a re-rating to 4p pretty quickly for a start - that would still only represent a market cap of £3m. Maybe with the Asian business and all the others you mention Lord Santafe, we could dream of 10p a share in a couple of years time?

Is there life in this old dog yet?

I'm half expecting to hear it's being suspended pending a clarification that directors have squandered all the money.

Been very quiet of late.

Nobody else suspicious?

I'm puzzelled and thought at first it was an affiliate deal of some kind. This would seem to have a lot of PR value. Perhaps they have a bigger plan. We can only wait and hope.

Cheers Davidruk, that is pretty good value. At that price, I wonder why they don't display it more clearly?

Because I couldn't see a price, I presumed it was a £10 rip-off...

The service must have been around for some time, judging by the fact they have an "Elect Obama" card. Domain was bought in September for $275. So, I wonder how they are doing? Not much on them in google and alexa rank is very low.

Sorry for the long delay getting back - worse than Royal Mail.
They are charging £1.50 per card. Certainly not expensive and about right for an impulse spend.

Great to see some interesting new innovation coming from the company - who knows, maybe it will become viral?

How much does each card cost to send?

Sumo sent out an email promoting this service it is really good - and funny. You send an E-card to a friend in the usual way but add their mobile number with the name details you pass to Cardfish. While the recipient is watching the actions in the email they receive a phone call from one of the characters in the e-card. I checked and the name cardfish.com is owned by Cellcast Ltd. One to watch with the right publicity it could be huge.

Regards and Happy New Year (please) for Cellcast share owners.

Hi,

My last post at the end of the year.

Checking Sumo.tv, came across a site called Cardfish.com

Have Cellcast been working on something highly advanced and cool, that the market isn't yet aware of.

Kind regards,

MN

Divorce is at record levels.

I know three guys who have lost everything because of greedy wifes (had it all before)

It's not a warped view but a balanced one - Western relationships can work but often don't.........all relationships are based around the financials.

I'm well travelled BTW........are you?

21st Century Media Company posting about his love life, gives me further doubts about his opinions about Cellcast, which is good news for us shareholders.

In February if the price and news is still as good as today I may top up.
There's only a slim chance that I will have some funds before then.

Was that a happy ending?

I hope so, as I would prefer to read about Cellcast on this thread

21st Century Media Company,

Well, it sounds like your previous marriage was a torrid affair that didn't bring you much happiness... from that perspective, your subsequent actions of setting out to find a thai bride may be not unreasonable.

However, i think your views are a little warped. There are plenty of people who are happily in 'traditional' relationships and don't see it as some kind of 'western style, i'm practically paying to be with my wife' arrangement... and i certainly think your following statement is untrue "love is for high school teenagers & Hollywood movies."

... i guess it's born out of ones own experience of relationships.

Like i said, as long as you're not harming anyone else, then there is no problem...

... merry christmas to you and your thai bride... may your relationship bring you much happiness.

Here's looking forward to another fun year of investing and related banter in 2009.

Oh we ALL pay for it - even in our Western marriges, relationships. At least I'm not in denial.

For the record.........I'm not paying her anything, we run the house together.........when I'm away I give her enough to last until my return............just like a normal Western marriage realy..........but I'm not paying her in the sense you're implying. It's a relationship, as real as any.

Don't worry - I've got my eyes open, we are both happy & I've only got 'invested' what I can walk away from if needed.

I never said we are in love...........love is for high school teenagers & Hollywood movies..........I like her very much & I believe she feels the same - we have never mentioned love but talk in a pratical manner about all sorts of issues - we are realistic.

If you've ever had a relationship or indeed 'enjoy' one now - work out how much you contribute in financial terms, then do the same for her.

Now go away & play with your boyfriends meat & two veg..........and don't forget the sauce!

21st Century Media Company,

When you pay them to be with you they'll say anything you want to hear... eh, Mr Dudley. Funny how if you want someone to love you, there's always an abundance of would-be-brides from thailand willing to fill the position for a few quid... funny old world really... oh well, you're both getting something out of it and not doing any harm... so no problem really.

Ofcom released the consultation plans for the 2009-2010 year. Lots of info, so haven't looked at it much, but seems to be a focus on converging technology
