credock - CASP are sitting on billions of barrels of oil imo. They are very close to cracking the drilling - which will open up the field to full development! If we start to bring these deeps on-line, we will fly past 24p. The blue-sky valuation is 74p here.

Flaw - yeah I know there are lots of interacting forces here but lets say at between 5 - 7p buy in prices available now this should be a solid AIM investment target, as we've argued over all summer.

Its history counts against it heavily and changing its name and not the in-house operators for the deeps is a strange political decision, as the markets are readjusting that will not help it next year as it announces news.

Lots of negative issues but the underlying oil is there, it seems the shallows are stabilised and can be cheaply infill drilled.

With a licence for MJF and a deep by March this should look totally different.

Hopefully we can start arguing about Mila soon, can't be to long before that relists.

I see many reasons offered for the fall here except for the pachyderm in the room which is of course, Brexit.People have been taking their money off the table for months now and it will accelerate when the "deal" gets voted downWe are headed for 2007 all over again folks....

Remember Flaw when Casp - Roxi went from 4p to 24p in the space of a couple of months about 5 years ago ? Is history going to repeat itself ???

George - I don't think the Saudis can be blamed for this mate. This is market makers knowing that we are heading into Winter plus drop in oil so they are taking full advantage of low volume buying of oil shares. It has nothing to do with CASP fundamentals - which are very good over the coming years. We are in a strong position and moving forward next year in our production goals. I think a few will be gutted they didn't take advantage of these prices. One deep and the spike here will be huge from this level! At least 300% of A5 flows - probably more.

Nice work! I have kept it CASP....I hope it pays off next year. I'm not in a rush mate - I'm only 38 so a long time before I actually retire!

I have patience and CASP is a very good bet. Not sure what the market is up to right now but I have cash so if it remains silly, I will buy a lot more.

Look to the Saudis for oil co's being marked down, they are grumbling about leaving Opec again and taking market share over the U.S.A and Russia.

Just looking at LEK Oil. Mms have taken their price down from 20p in September to 13p today. I always looked at LEK in a similar light to CASP so it is reassuring that this is a market wide issue and not CASP specific.

Anyone think this is done as a traders Xmas bonus move? Whack it down and scare out all the small fry before the Christmas pump? If you look at CASP over the past four years - this has happened several times.

Flawless I agree, the MM's are trying it on wherever they can , Nighthawk make that point on lse casp today, my reply to that is if the pi's buy en mass and in volume they fox trot Oscar and leave it well alone.

Like X2 has said I think the floor has been cemented in here.

George - I will go with that. Back up to 8p sharpish is my bet. This fall has been based on nothing. We are in exactly the same situation as we were a few weeks back.
