31/10/2024 07:16 | Won't be much left of that can once they've finished kicking it down the road | onsideman
30/10/2024 14:33 | CASP needs to Deliver Shallows sale & bank $70m Deliver the various Licence renewals Deliver Deeps oil production Deliver resources upgrades Deliver additional hires or sale of CE Delivering on at least 3 of the above will bring investors back to this share and share price will spike rapidly ;-) | the new norm
30/10/2024 13:54 | So in theory we have similar amount to the market cap due in cash. Unclear why it either means the cash will be spent unwisely , the remaining assets have very little value or the cash is not coming. This seems unlikely. So all we need is any news , and the buying will do the rest . | maxim1999
29/10/2024 18:38 | Although with the shallows it's sensible position. But if they are looking at operational mining they better have ducks in a row with a decent operational director... | spangle111
29/10/2024 18:36 | Opportunities are made....not luck. I think they've got the ability but as they have said they lack something in ongoing operation....easily addressed... | spangle111
29/10/2024 16:30 | K let's see if they get the cash in for Shallows that to me is the catalyst for repricng With that cash we are well placed to pay the Kaz authority bribes, opppps i mean licence renewal and social payments. Hugely different valuations with licence renewals and reserve updates for BNG Deeps, B8 and 3A Best Add in another CE hire and one or two BNG Deeps flowing or a sale of BNG Deeps WS in production All of the above could easily happen during FY25 IMHO conclusion and receipt of the Shallows sale cash sets off the chain reaction towards a market cap > £250m That news could drop any day soon ;-) | the new norm
29/10/2024 15:56 | 3p to 12p. 12p = mcap £270m i like to dream like that too, but that's all it is. wont be happening any time soon, not even with shallows sale and a flowing deep. once upon a long time ago a flowing deep would have shot it past 30p. now no one believes anything here, a flowing deep, shrug shoulders, so what? a week later they will report a problem and the deep will have stopped flowing. its going to be a long haul before they restore any investor confidence. more likely they will have flogged the company off before then. wish it were different but hey ho. | konil
29/10/2024 14:00 | X If you had bought CASP today 4 years ago and held, you are sitting on a 100% profit! From that perspective CASP looks much better than the safe GILT bet over the same time frame! Looking forward if inflation now under control the GILT should be good for 4% pa and limited capital value volatility CASP on the other hand could 4 bag very quickly from current share price Clive just needs to deliver on his promises starting this week ;-) | the new norm
29/10/2024 13:19 | NN, I was going to do the same in 23 as a CGT play !! | xclusive2
29/10/2024 12:23 | Spare a thought for the wealthy sod who tucked away £1m in safe UK GILTS in 2019! inflation adjusted gilt reinvestment income now down 50% and RR is going to target the poor sods broad shoulders! UK was a busted flush before Labour entered the building Here in the US its not much better but they are better at the talk game | the new norm
29/10/2024 11:46 | Maxim,Not against tax but not racing the 'working person', what a load of old tosh. All the 60+ who've worked their nuts off and paid taxes through their working life. Those who've worked hard to amass saving pots, ISAs, pensions etc. Those entrepreneurs who have employed 100s of people, paid their PAYE, employers NI, corporation tax, vat etc. What are those workers classed as ? They don't get it and they're coming after those that have worked hard and contributed to society through their working lives. They've capped the biggest source of tax ie income, NI and corporation. IHT, CGT, Pensions, ISAs, Private Schools etc. Going to be a kicking for those workers who've worked hard and succeeded in their working life. They just don't get it. | xclusive2
28/10/2024 20:43 | You have your view BM and others have a different one, makes for good debate but maybe not on the Casper bb. Suffice to say, the Soviet Union dissolved in Dec 91 and many independent states formed. It's been 33 years and our Mr P wants them back. NATO prodding Russia ? listening to too much to the Trump rhetoric .Not for the BB but maybe at the next GM where we can debate the pros and cons. What we need is some really positive news on Casper before our Putin has time to focus on the FSU states that did not support him with his Ukrainian objective. Our Tokayev won't last and Kaz will be absorbed and any western investment will be at risk. | xclusive2
28/10/2024 20:13 | I respectfully suggest a little more open minded thought from one or two on here wouldn't go amiss, rather than simply swallowing the BBC/ITV/Legacy media view in general. Re Putin, he was provoked beyond endurance by the EU in particular trying to encourage Ukraine into joining NATO and the EU, with Ukraine being a strategically important country on Russia's western border. I very much doubt whether he has expansionist ambitions, especially after this expensive and dismally lengthy campaign in Ukraine. And how can anyone argue a potential end to sanctions wouldn't be good for Casp? | bluemango
28/10/2024 17:59 | Not saying that Trump won't be bad for oil price. Good for Casper ? that's debatable as to whether they produce any oil in near term if the AR deal completes. Good for the world ? Nope, not in my book, he should be behind bars. Yes, he'd stop funding for Ukraine and Putin would pick up Donbas. What's next for Putin in his plight to re-form the former USSR. All the Stans then Baltic states and Poland ? Trump and America first is no good for the UK. The latest little spat with Starmer re election campaigners will do the UK harm and trade deals on good terms will take a back seat. As stated, I don't like the democrat option either and I don't like a number of their policies but no way would I vote for Trump. Each to their own and as I see it, it's a shoite sandwich whichever way you look at it but one has a layer of mayo :)AR deal outcome ? wouldn't surprise me if it fell out of bed but Casper would pick up a chunk of interest from monies paid and just crack on with the remedial work. Probably get the next update on Budget day and I could go with some good news as I'm not getting any from Starmer :( | xclusive2
28/10/2024 17:42 | PS let me make it clear I have no idea if anything due out tomorrow just reading someone else is predicting there might be. If in doubt assume no news frankly . | maxim1999
28/10/2024 17:24 | It's a sad indictment of this stock that there is so little to discuss we are resorting to talk about the outcome of the US election . So while we are on the subject whatever the prospects of the Democrats are they have improved over night post the race baiting at MSG. No way Trump is good for CASP price over any time period unless they start making golf balls or tanning lotion. I hope there is good news tomorrow because we are due some and a subsequent bounce . Let's get the sale done and a confirm of when the cash is in. Operational progress and added bonus. | maxim1999
28/10/2024 16:58 | Trump being re-elected in just over a week's time would be potentially very good news for Casp, opening up the prospect of an eventual end to hostilities between Russian & Ukraine and a lifting of sanctions. Don't be misled by the MSM descriptions of 'dictator' stuff either. If anything, the current US Democrats are actually closer to dictator behaviour, in their wish for more censorship, shenanigans with ballot-rigging (eg forcing RFK jnr's name to stay on the ballot in some states even though he's officially dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Trump) and their constant hounding of Trump and his circle with spurious lawsuits etc. | bluemango
28/10/2024 16:20 | There's a new one every month :). Nostradamus this month but he's running g out of time. Baba Vanga still got time as has our Clive ;)The world is in a mess and anything is possible with so many geopolitical crises in play. Scary duff but jets hope we can spend some of the Casper process pre meeting our maker !NN, I don't subscribe to Trump being good for the world. Maybe good for US but he's no different to any other Dictator. Don't like the lefty Harris option either but most of the US population don't like either option ! One for a f2f over a cup of cho maybe :) | xclusive2
28/10/2024 11:57 | It's the end of the world Stu :) | xclusive2
28/10/2024 10:16 | Nice one PV1 (24241) Add some value to this BB for once What do you think is happening tomorrow ;-) | the new norm |
