Yes spot on BM
From a naive bystanders viewpoint it looks like a selling frenzy, yet the reality is there are more buys than sells today
Someone trying to accumulate by deception ;-) |
Trades at 2.95 today have of course all been buys despite recorded as sells and have included the largest today so far (125k). |
Can't see that being an option, they would need shareholder approval and that needs a GM and alot more disclosure on a list of 'pendings' longer than my arm
While we wait this is worth a watch, Billy Bob(Bad Santa) plays a mean Clive Carver ;-) |
So maybe they do it before the deal completes. I have no idea. I am just trying to understand why there is no news on anything |
Max
There is a big flaw in the 'paper' theory
If the Shallows sale goes through they will have £70m cash in the bank account
Why would they acquire a 'new asset' by issuing more paper when they can acquire with cash from balance sheet? |
I don't think the CP would agree a deal at a discount unless they were benefitting as part of the acquisition entity . What would be the point ? If anything the reverse may happen where they push out announcements to demonstrate value and push up the share price to force a deal at a higher price . Anyway if a bid was possible it surely would have happened years ago. I am sticking with the theory a paper deal is possible with a low share price being helpful to anybody but the minority. |
Already 6 months have flown by since Clive made his most bullish comments about the future cash flow prospects for CASP
Constant drip of daily sales keeping share price on downward arc, I share your suspicions Max, it's either another paper acquisition in pipeline or an external predator like KMG manipulating share price for their nefarious plan ;-)
Don't forget KMG hired Caspian Explorer for their JV exploration of Abay, if they could pick up the whole of CASP for £70m they would achieve deal of the century! |
It is possible there is another deal coming with shares as the consideration hence wanting to keep the price low so more shares are issued ?I am trying to understand why there is no news on anything |
Offer price for 325k shares @ 3.27p
MMs really don't want to give chunks of CASP away today
More than happy to take stock off paper hands at 2.93p though ;-)
Expectation of a positive RNS dropping is rising as each day goes by!
Update 16:30
Saw this weird MM manipulation a few days before news was released, maybe we have a leaky ship! |
X2
Maybe Clive going to surprise us again tomorrow with a cheeky intra day Thursday RNS, his November surprise certainly made it an interesting trading day, if my memory serves me well ;-) |
Hi Timber,UPS ? I think this lady needs to renew her knicker elastic (; |
MMs playing games ;-)
Expecting to see some sizeable delayed trades appearing over next couple of days |
Seems to be a problem at London SE
No trades are getting published today
Just bought 5000 @ 3.07p and it's not showing
Update: it's back online again so trades should be appearing as usual again |
2.80 v 3.30
MMs moved offer to top of pricing range
Game of chicken between pis and MMs
Who blinks first?
News about to break? |
Maybe advfn is lagging on trade updates |
Well, wonderful Wednesday is replaced by WAITING and wondering but I'll take that over wicked and woeful. Another W, the weather. A lot better than previous winters but not really relevant when operational activity is minimal.https://www.accuweather.com/en/kz/tengiz/1686182/january-weather/1686182Meanwhile we WAIT for next news ie AR deal, licence renewals, 815, WS spud. 803 continued testing, Akkaduk testing at B8 and A5 side-track to happen come licence approval. If AR deal closes then expect the mining acquisition proposal too. |
Two new flare licence permits issued last week covering BNG area
Perhaps they now have well 815 flowing after December's acid treatment
Shallows current oil production now north of 1600 bopd?
CASP cash balance growing every day they remain owners of the Shallows and minimal exploration costs during pause waiting for 2x Deeps 25yr production licence issue
All going in right direction with West Shalva going into production in Q2, together with B8 going on test when second licence obtained
Go go go CASP ;-) |
Seems we are stuck in 2nd gear still. We need good news. |
Wonderful Wednesday anyone :) |
From being almost comically oversold, the 14-day RSI is now surprisingly heading slightly upwards but still low at around 30.
It's taking all my reserves of self restraint not to really pile in at these levels but I've got more than enough of these now and want to retain at least some small degree of prudence! But I'm jealous as hell at those buying/adding down here. Surely ready to pop on the right news, and at least I'll enjoy that. |
Don't think anyone would disagree that CASP should be valued in USD given their assets produce oil which is priced in USD
What I don't understand is the market cap of CASP was $125m in Oct24
Now it is $80m!!!
Nothing has changed except the pound has dropped against the mighty dollar
If the market was pricing CASP USD correctly that asset should have appreciated in value by >10% in sterling terms not drop 30% since October
Embarrassing how bad the AIM market is at pricing asset value, but I guess there lies the opportunity for savvy investors to exploit ;-) |
$500 m bid equates to 18 p . Versus the current share price I would be very happy . |
KMG now own 100% of Dunga Field
3AB own subsoil below 2500m subject to licence renewal |
