I wonder if AR are borrowing in KZT to complete shallows purchase?
They need to find 25% more KZT than if deal had been done in May 24
Not a problem caused by CASP but I could see it being a material issue for AR...get ready for RNS saying AR walked away from deal
The flow rate achieved at 815 may prove to be relevant if CASP end up holding onto the Shallows in 2025 ;-) |
Excellent summary . Thank you. The key seems we need news that some of these are being actually being delivered on and then there must be a tipping point where the good news is factored in and then the market will discount the value of future projects as well. Not sure what that tipping point is . |
The last announcement stated that the shallow deal completion was 'expected' to be imminent. That was almost 4 weeks ago so what timeline do you put on imminence but I suppose the word expected gives them a lot of latitude. Maybe they need a second company name change to ' Great Expectations' ! They've stopped work at BNG and rigs to be diverted to work on other prospects as the drilling suspension at BNG deeps continues whilst we await licence approval. Drilling projectsWest Shalva 'expected' spud in Q1 dependant on acquisition completionBlock 8 Sholkara work overs on 2 existing deeps in Q1Block 8 Akkaduk structure testing when licence approved815 acid treatment now but this won't benefit us if AR deal completesBNG deeps - resumption of testing at 803 and remedial work at Airshagyl wells ie A5/A6OtherCE charter opps for 25 ?Mining acquisitionDivi payment if AR deal completes |

Norm I know your an ally of George and I'd normally (see what I did there) agree with you. But I think he's suffering from Southport syndrome and is on the Cusp of a mental breakdown. |
George will be fine, what he has lost on BMN he will recover 10fold on his large CASP holding, his timing of markets is usually flawless ;-) |
A bloke called Flawless |
Where did you get this news from ? |
Quick update on CoffeeCups: he was heavily invested (leveraged) in BMN which has now been suspended and I think he's been made financially bankrupt. Sad news as he seemed clued up but just made a few bad calls. |
Max
I like your analogy with bookies!
Hoping CASP is first past the post at 10/1 and not a faller at the last hurdle ;-) |
While the market makers are bright they don't have the time to look at each stock. Some of these small traders have 100 + stocks to make prices in. While they keep dividend dates and the odd corporate event they infrequently have a position unless it's based on pending orders. They are unlikely to look at fundamental research and would only take in to account the view of an analyst unless he has a really strong view. I am guessing they are like horse bookmakers . They don't have much of an opinion on a horses odd unless they see lots of bets being made. |
I reckon an RNS gets released an hour before close on the 24th. |
How odd!
The smallest UT I've ever seen....£3 WTF!
CASP MMs are a very weird bunch! |
Wonder if Clive will surprise us again with a 12:43 Thursday intra day RNS? |
For info, current spread is around 3.05 to 3.13.
159k was a buy. |
3.25p for 325k shares
Impressive symmetry MMs ;-) |
Id say GAGGING. I just want 10p plus to sell and live the life of riley .LOL |

Length of time for sensible return ? As stated, impossible to say but I'm sure our leadership are wanting a rerun and Kuat is not getting any younger . The Concert Party have amassed a collection of assets and built up a 50% position in Casper. Kuat has converted a $6.4m loan for equity so why do this if they weren't confident of a return. I believe that cash generation will happen 24/25 starting with AR deal. The next chunk of cash could come from a BNG sale but that depends on licence approvals and they have 9 months extension to complete that endeavour. Just the fact that they are selling BNG blocks will move the share price considerably. They could sell CE this year too, depends on charter prospects. The other assets ie B8 & WS, hopefully they become the daily cash flow generators and if so, this flies. Hopefully won't be saying the same thing in a years time !! |
Whatever Antsy is Norm i have been like it for about 10 years waiting for these to deliver lol. |
Credock my footballing mate ;-)
Your question regarding patience is a good one
I'm only an expert on my own patience and cannot proffer a view on other PIs tolerance of a paused situation
From my perspective Clive is now back on his pre covid remuneration package and I would therefore hope that he is working his nuts off to get the Shallows sale completed, the various licence renewals negotiated and the various CPRs completed in short order
I'm giving him until next years AGM to deliver on this to do list. Whilst he is beholden to Kaz bureaucracy on most of the matters, he is paid a substantial sum to find ways through the process and get best outcomes for CASP
If CASP is still on pause by that time I guess I will be getting a bit antsy! |
Nobody knows. Anything from just a few days, to who knows when.
It's called risk, what you exchange for (hopefully) reward. If you want no risk, sell up and put it in a bank savings account. |
Dear X. Please give me the correct answer here LOL. When so say patience is required do you mean for a few months ? Or as usual per Casp the whole of 2025. |
