23/8/2007 15:10 | ........yes agreed. With the re-rating of the share price over the past fornight, makes you think something's up or some good announcement is on the way. | ![]() smelgy

23/8/2007 15:08 | we could do with some good news then! | ![]() anotherguru
23/8/2007 15:08 | .........guru - my broker believes the true current figure is around 8.3%. When you look at the upwards movement in the share price over the past week, it's actually gone hand-in-hand with an increase in the short positions. very interesting indeed. A short squeeze (on good news or short covering) could be very dramatic for the price. | ![]() smelgy
23/8/2007 15:05 | 12% on loan as of 20/08. doesn't make sense! even when it fell from 1200 to 300 ish only 4% on loan. | ![]() anotherguru
23/8/2007 15:04 | This is all over the place at the moment ! Seems the MM's don't know what the hell to do !! | musashi san
23/8/2007 14:54 | Hmmmmmm, 1,477,708 shares. I wonder where they found a home? That's 3.55% of the issued shares... Bring on the bid ! ;-) | musashi san
23/8/2007 14:54 | on 20aug there was a big leap up early morning then the price gradually dropped, perhaps that was the last big futile shorting exercise. before tues 21aug afternoon when we began to move solidly up | bronking
23/8/2007 14:49 | did you see the X trade at 120? This is Market Maker to Market Maker? Seems like someone is adjusting the short position. Who could be the seller? It is a huge volume. | ![]() v01101999
23/8/2007 14:47 | ....... 1.5m cross-trade at 120p | ![]() smelgy
23/8/2007 14:45 | .........how interesting to see that the "short" position on Aug 20 stood at over 12%, and yet the price has risen. IF there are such large short positions and a good RNS is issued the squeeze on the share price will be dramatic. Will be interesting to see if this figure comes back to around 8% in the next few days, as my broker believes the true short position is around 8.3%. | ![]() smelgy

23/8/2007 14:39 | 125/127 101k v/s 384k. Most of the sell volume is at and after 135 | ![]() v01101999
23/8/2007 14:28 | thin end of the wedge is about 131.681p unless theirs a yanky influence level 2 anyone | bronking
23/8/2007 14:26 | we have a lot more sellers in that region. I would say we would remain around 130 (probably a tad bit below 130) today. But the price pull is positive and if we can consolidate here and do not break downward, we have a good chance to hit 150 soon. | ![]() v01101999
23/8/2007 14:23 | 130 is proving to be a tough resistence. Lot of volume to sell after 130. We need a solid buyer to breach it. | ![]() v01101999
23/8/2007 12:38 | We've now surpassed yesterday's volume, and we've another 4 hours to go yet... I'm going to put my neck on the line a little here, and say 140+ finish ! ;-) | musashi san
23/8/2007 12:32 | references, Lol. Sorry mate! Didn't mean to sound condascending. Just thought you came across as a bit of a one-line ramper... I'm sure you're not though! ;-) | musashi san
23/8/2007 12:16 | ........looking at today's trading chart, we are making higher lows all the time. That is another bullish sign along with the resistance point being overcome. | ![]() smelgy
23/8/2007 12:10 | ........LOL! | ![]() smelgy
23/8/2007 12:00 | Smelgy, you'll be able to afford that new toothless dog in no time! Good luck all! | ![]() webgremlin
23/8/2007 11:59 | .............yes - it's singed shorters. Just going back to the percentage of shares on loan - the 9.4% figure quoted yesterday was for August 17 - so basically the figs are roughly a week out of date on advfn. Maybe my broker was right when he said the actual up to date figure had fallen to 8.3%. | ![]() smelgy

23/8/2007 11:55 | Mus - I feel like I have just read one of my school reports. If only they had actually been that good! Fling - not sure what came over me. Normal service should resume shortly. | ![]() references |
