22/8/2007 16:16 | Million. Sorry I use this convention (K for Thousand, MM for Million - a mixture of Roman and Decimal M is 1000 in Roman so 1000,000) | ![]() v01101999
22/8/2007 16:14 | v, Is that 3.94 million or does the MM stand for marketmaker? | lucas buck
22/8/2007 16:09 | ..........hasn't the on-loan figure come down slight from 8.81 to 8.3% ?? | ![]() smelgy
22/8/2007 16:06 | I don't really pay it too much attention to be honest mate... I don't know how accurate they are. Plus, if it has increased it's probably small time punters rather than insti's. The trades figures and the share price rise says to me there's an awful lot of iterest in this stock on the long side. | musashi san
22/8/2007 16:02 | what do you make of the increasing on loan figure ms? | ![]() anotherguru
22/8/2007 16:02 | Lets have some fun in the last half an hour :) | ![]() leadersoffice
22/8/2007 15:54 | I've just done a bit of analysis on the days trades again, stripping out anything below 10,000 shares (PI noise), and the results are as follows - Buys - 589,910 (82%) Sells - 130,382 (18%) | musashi san
22/8/2007 15:54 | how come the stock on loan figure is increasing even after these moves. Market Makers running short of stock? I have noted that MMs have also increased spread. On L2 you will find Yellow Strip (116/117.75) LAND - 115/124 (9 p) WINS - 115/123 (8p) MLSB - 114/125 (11p) EVO - 113.5/120.5 (7p) ABNV - 112.25/121 (7.75p) KLWT - 111.50/123 (11.50p) KAUP - 111.25/122.75 (10.50p) UBS - 110.25/121.25 (11p) There was time when most of them were within 5 - 7 p. It seems MMs do not want to sell anymore and are looking for PI sellers. I think something is underway and I am not sure how old is the information about stock on loan but that should see a drop very soon with a big spike upwards in this stock. | ![]() v01101999
22/8/2007 15:47 | stock on loan figure now shows 3.94 MM shares on loan. Would love to see that covered in these markets. | ![]() v01101999
22/8/2007 15:37 | good old battle going on at the mo... Very nice to see. | ![]() chesty1
22/8/2007 15:33 | Yep, seems we have a buyer, but someone doesn't want it any higher for now, hence the auctions. But, if the buying continues there'll be no choice but to rerate higher. Still think there's a good chance we'll see over 120p today. | musashi san
22/8/2007 15:26 | 115p/119.25p | armitage_sink

22/8/2007 15:05 | We should be due a breakout of this trading range at any time... | musashi san
22/8/2007 15:02 | ........notice that there must have been some short-closing, as the amount out on loan has dropped slightly. | ![]() smelgy
22/8/2007 14:41 | .........I'm not a chart expert by any means, but I calculate the next resistance point at 124p. | ![]() smelgy |
