Been in CART since 66p cheers & nearly doubled me money, I cannot see NLR doubling that quickly..BUT good luck to you & its a good move up today over there BUT seen it all before & seen bad results also follow rises like that..I hope I am wrong for all NLR holders.

Be lucky to all & not chasing the hot money any more, staying put here cheers.

one word of caution/after thought though .. many brokers do not put the limit order on the SETS order book. They traditionally trade on RSP (retail service provider) network where they request for quote from market maker (or makers) on their panel and then choose the best quote.

Therefore if the order book is say 104/110 and you put a limit order to buy at 106, you might not find it appearing on level 2/SETS order book. In fact you might find that some trades have gone at 106 but your order is not filled. You might find (to your disadvantage) that your order is filled only when the order books moves to 100/106 or nearabout.

On an illiquid markets (like this share sometimes) MMs can make good money just by managing the order book properly. in an order book of 104/110 where I am aware of a limit order to buy at 106, MM would put a buy order at SETS for 105, someone will hit it so MM has bought for 105. Now MM can display 106 offer on SETS, this will trigger your limit order at 106 which will be reported as O trade. Order book goes back to 104/110 and this creative transaction has earned MM £100 for 10,000 shares. Do it 100 times a day and call for Champagne ..

thanks jane .. in fact I do not need to ask my broker, I can do it my self .. some days before I explained that this is the way I am accumulating this share. I place orders at bid and expect that to be filled .. with wide bid offer spread, this saves a great deal on spread cost.

Therefore the interesting thing in wider spread order books is to see which side is moving (bid or offer) i.e. are there buyers coming in with higher and higher bids to reduce the spread of sellers moving with lower offers to reduce the offer.

I have noted that whenever I have tried to buy significant amounts, the bid starts to move up (i.e more buyers step in front of me to buy) .. I have mentioned before that it is increasingly difficult to get a large order filled in this stock without disturbing the prices. This is a good sign for the upside (i.e. indicating that sellers are still holding on).

I am now closely watching the stock on loan figure .. I am quite interested to see that reduced over the coming week .. that is quite a large volume outstanding now.

The order book though is self fulfilling, if you ask your broker now to buy 10,000 at a limit 106, he has the option to place on SETS and the spread is 106-110 !

even the 105 price displayed is bit "engineered" to give the impression that stock has opend low. If you look at the trades, 5000 @107 trade at offer was immediately followed by a much lower and symbolic 500 @105 trade at bid.

All trades are going at 109/110 level ..

very interesting order book (104.75 - 110 76K v 20k) .. very wide spread making it very hard for anyone to buy .. a very tight squeeze on people holding short positions .. I think the buy and hold strategy of PIs and addition in large amount by institutions have removed the supply of shares and short positions are in danger.

The 'wide spread' is not ''manufactured', any broker house or institution with an electronic dealing platform could at anytime input a limit buy or sell into the SETS order book and alter the 'spread'instanteneously !

good buys aroudn 102 .. so that should keep support .. would be great to another close above 107.5 (which is quite possible today). Expect teh same pattern .. shake during AM to find sellers .. and then rise up ..

Very thin SETS order book this a.m. Just a few buy market trades can move it back up quickly.
