fenners66<< they have revised covenants as in annual report and qualify for additional BOE covid support, as well as renegotiated rents with landlord. Anything said at this point is speculation both ways (positive or negative), however I think the mask wearing once people are used to it, may help the investment case.

lol dexringle, is mallorca 12???

I would like to see a knock knock on Mallorca's door :)...would make my day, anyone got any tracking software for a tip off to FCA???

Look back through the thread lastchance the at the covenant tests we discussed.
Whilst they have the liquidity now - the tests at least come January could well be failed.

There is some rigging going on, the sell price is 3p different to buy price.
I was going to add some but can't, either way looks like I timed my reduction right

Oh dear - the obvious 1st step- widen the spread and trap holders in.

Total wipeout obviously about to happen here.

Mr_spock<< I agree, I also have the works, I just reduced CARD as I got burned 6 months earlier, and I broke my 1% allocation rule averaging out, so just playing it safe. The works doesn't have a meaningful market cap but I'm hoping people like the business and it scales up, I think its quite niche, lot of people into crafting and good value books, kids games etc.

I think retailers like CARD, Wilko, the Works, B&M, will survive and do well on the high street. They sell cheap product; you can't buy much cheaper online. Rents will come down.

dexdringle<< I do like the hokey cokey, but...

I was considering how I would feel if the share price went down, bearing in mind I reversed a 3k loss buying the dislocation, and I realised I would not be a happy bunny, so better take some chips of the table...

I think the advice when your not sure is to reduce 25%, but I went for 50% and did the full hokey cokey because it was a serious relief to buy the dislocation. No point being greedy, it didn't help goldy locks and the three bears :), but I've still skin in the game, so until the market outlook improves I'll see what happens with this game of musical chairs...

Well I'm half in half out..."

Is that the hokey cokey investment model ?

Well I'm half in half out, I made my money back on the dislocation, so I'm not bothered either way now, I'd actually prefer it drop to 40 again, as 50 is a clear resistance level, but you can't hold off margin calls if market gets worse. People sell anything if this goes bear, so from a risk perspective I can find other bargains.

This is similar charting to Capita, and they keep getting screwed on pullbacks, either way Ill run with what I have left in the kitty, least I have some cash on hand.

I sold half my holding today, do you honestly think this will hold at 50p??? I have never seen this before, from a technical analysis you would assume a pullback with market conditions. My position was too large anyway, if it goes up Ill make do with what ever follows through.
