I have just read through the annual report for 2020, it is made VERY CLEAR that they have REVISED banking covenants to 275m, and with the financing arrangements with BOE, Covid support scheme, and renegotiated terms with suppliers and landlords the business has sufficient liquidity to weather this period.

Shorters will burn shortly - next stop 60p

thing is shorts like mallorca, and the other guys (who turned up for just 2 days) posting plenty negative views are part of the concert who is trying to force the company hand into a low ball placing so they close their shorts with.

the fact that the whole Invesco stake was quickly found buyers on the other side is a strong sign of the demand, but maybe the market maker was caught short as well hoping to see it through the 30's to make a quick buck knowing in advance that Invesco were dumping before they close their shorts too.

can't believe in today's rules market makers are allowed 10% short without notifying !!!

I've taken a few as a short term trade. As per the post above, have a stop under 50 if it doesn't breakout, but there are buyers in size here so looking for a bullish short term breakout and move.

Mallorca has a valid point on funding. Detailed in a post on TRI the number of companies raising cash recently (alot!) and debt is always the killer, particularly in this environment.

However, the fact that there have been buyers in very significant size (as per the sells being gobbled up at 50p and as per the whole of the Invesco stake being placed) suggests the demand is significant that they could get a placing away at these levels or higher if these buyers exhaust the sellers and shorts here and cause the stock to make a significant breakout.

The way alot of these stocks have rallied post fundings suggest this could move higher too, but I'm only trading this short term and NOT MAKING a case for a long term investment. It's a nightmare out there, we all know the drill.

Let the short term battle commence!

What's going on here - enormous buy orders hitting the book. Stock threatening a breakout.

Is it because Naked Trader announced he went short yesterday? Ha
