Thanks rhomboid- certainly hope so. Yes they did jump on the last update - let's hope they appear on the homepage as one of the biggest risers on the day this time around too :)

Let's hope your latest top up represents perfect timing 🙂 I hold a lot of these and think they just drift between quarterly updates as they seem off the radar for many investors. Iirc they jumped 18% on the last update so let's hope for a similar bounce as the next Q should be a v good one too.

Online availability to buy has finally dried up so took a final top up this morning.

Some volume from our seller going through today @ 50p.

Hopefully given the share price movement lately the company will be keen to get the H1 update out next week!

Just plumped for a top up @ 53.7 following that 30k buy.

Still plenty of stock available to buy - hoping that will quickly change.

Surprised at selling just 3 weeks away from H1 update following that Q1 update.

Online quotes suggest weakness at the moment with plenty of stock currently available @ 54p but on the lookout for a well-timed top up...

AJ Bell don't credit it until the cheque(!) clears, as it's a Bermuda bank rules are different and it takes up to 7 working days

Broker comment ...

Tamesis Partners said Capital sits on an attractive valuation multiples as well as being a dividend payer.

"The company has used 2016 and early 2017 as an opportunity to refurbish and/or make strategic investments so cashflow has remained suppressed. Still, a dividend was awarded in 2016 and we expect another in 2017 of US$0.015/share, equivalent to a 2% yield.

"In 2018, free cashflows are expected to rise materially with a free cashflow pre-dividend of US$9.5 million and yield of 9.2%."

Tamesis' price target is 85p/share.

Unsurprisingly Shares mag today advised its readers to keep buying at current prices.

Half page write up mainly focusing on the Fincap upgrade and no info that hasn't been mentioned on this board already.

Probably accounts for some of the buying today.

Clearly, we have a seller in the background working the bid side of the order book. Can't make further progress until he has cleared. Hopefully he will stop selling before the buyers stop buying. :-)

Strange day so far - share price has weakened with every buy transaction. For small quantities at the current spread of 58.5-59 one can now even buy at the Bid price.

Going by the online quotes I'm getting all trades are buys so far today, despite some being reported as sells.

Good to be back in the 60s...

New phone interview with the Chairman FYI - interesting that Q1 is usually their weakest quarter....

"Capital Drilling's Jamie Boyton 'very pleased' with Q1 performance
11:09 02 May 2017

A resurgence in mining activity has meant the best quarter for Capital Drilling PLC (LON:CAPD) since 2013.

Chairman Jamie Boyton tells Proactive's Stocktube: ''We're very pleased ... it's really down to a turn in the cycle.''

''Obviously we went through a challenging period which commenced late 2012 when the cycle really turned against us and then in late Q1 last year we started to see a stronger performance initially in the gold price and a stronger performance in capital raising - particularly in the junior end of the market''.
