I'm wondering if this one, being a SETSqx stock by the looks of it, will start to move after the 3pm auction currently in progress.

Don't think I remember seeing an ADVFN trade screen being so flooded with buys but the price hasnt budged in last couple of hours. Must be a lot of stock to soak up.

What were you basing your clearing overhang comments on Yasz?

I understand a holder is being forced to liquidate their position. Looking at the small amount held by shareholders, the position could clear very soon. I have picked up a few - as mentioned previously the fall is overdone.

CEY has already bounced 50 % higher from the low this morning.

Although CEY is "one of CAPD's lager clients" it is not very clear what percentage of total revenue does CEY contribute towards. The only information we have is Egypt & Tanzania makes 40% of total revenue. There are currently 23 rigs in Egypt and 19 in Tanzania out of the total 90 rigs. So as an approximation, I think Egypt contributes about 25% to 30% of total revenue. So today's fall of appx 40% is overdone. Some of the risks associated with the Eqyptian crisis was already reflected in the market cap prior to today's fall. IMO end of the year, CAPD will still be profitable, albeit about 25 to 30% lower than estimate. So I took the risk and bought a few for the first time here!

Not sure there is any need to write off the assets. They are not there to be expropriated. I think Egypt and Tanzania is around 40% of operations. You would hope management have been asking CEY to pay the bills in good order given the instability of their operations.

How much of that 90 million is tied up in rigs in Egypt? I'd write those off for starters.

Hmmm...only £22m m/cap now at 16p. Wondering whether it's time to buy back in given $90m of net tangible assets for starters?

Guess it boils down to how quick they can move it and find new customers. No doubt they will have a few issues with debtor balances as well. Can't help.

Surprised that with sentiment for mining sector now in full blown bullish mode again that CAPD isn't getting any interest. Fears over Egypt probably not helping but they can probably move the equipment and place it elsewhere without too much trouble. Might have a nibble soon.

FWIW i think those trades today were buys not sells - I was quoted 28.25 to buy on a dummy trade
