04/7/2024 11:35 | I would be amazed if PE was not already looking at this considering the severe undervaluation vs the potential. However, I would expect many to be deterred by the black box nature of the contracts. It is hard to overstate just how bad some of these were structured during the race to the bottom. I think procurement has improved since the likes of Carillion went bust (just look at all the contractors who are now flagging margin expansion after years of working through all the dud contracts) so one would expect newly signed contracts to reflect more commercial terms and more adequate risk sharing / control. I watched the capital markets day and then read the transcript and I really like the new CEO. And the quality of the jockey can be key to a successful turnaround. These definitely have the potential to inflect like Kier and RR and others so I have nibbled during this period of max uncertainty when the numbers still look pretty poor. | catabrit

04/7/2024 07:34 | The uptrend should pick up pace today. I would have thought 50p was a more realistic end of year target, but £1 is certainly achievable if cost savings are delivered as planned. | ![]() socionomics

03/7/2024 11:09 | Nice Video ticks my research. The one point I picked up was the £180 Million debt only with most of the rest of the debt classed as Liabilities. This will probably be reduced in the coming 12 months with working practices changing to home working more. The FCP and profit margin of 6% to 8% can reach roughly £250 million while the company is worth £240 Million. On the above basis, I do hope the Company can make it before PE buys it. 01/7/2024 19:11 | FeelThePain I can relate to your situation, mine was Saga at the high of £30 to the depth of 70p. I averaged down and sold out at a 2% gain last year. Capita Plc is different now if you look at the old board to the new now. You have a new CEO and a whole lot of appointments. When you look at the appointments all are experienced with proven track records. The CEO has invested and basically got all the bad news out of the way. The CEO did not give excuses just facts and a plan forward. We are trading at a discount in real terms to its Asset/Net/Intrusic value. If I read correctly you are 50% down by the present share price as of today of 13.26p. You have averaged down a lot then. If you sold out and a few months down the line the CEO has turned the business around with AWS, how would you feel probably worse. I hold a few shares let's say but my average is around 16p, I look at Capita Plc now with the new integration of AWS and any new contracts which in the medium term should show increased profitability. I have done my research on the appointments, and CEO plan, and read so much my mind is numb but in the end, I believe the present CEO will give a good return on your Investment. 01/7/2024 18:44 | Hope, not sure I am happy investing. This share probably makes money trading not investing. Would love to see an increase but this continual down trend is depressing. Shorts may be decreasing, but the shorts are the winners here.To put my moaning in context, I am nearly 50% down after many years of averaging down. | ![]() feelthepain
