17/12/2020 06:15 | @guru No, I have a ‘never sell’ policy on the SIPP. I have no doubt the smaller CPI will be trading above 100p come retirement time, but for now, with Brexit and Covid slowing things down, I think we’ll see a bit more downside from here (supported by technicals too). | hodhasharon
16/12/2020 22:07 | If these are going sub-24p then presumably you have sold these from you pension Hodhasharon! | gurunostradamus

16/12/2020 16:57 | By the time you receive the first dumping signal, you've probably got three more already in the pipeline, owing to the delayed nature of such alerts. Forget the buyers/sellers ratios. That's all there to fool you. The only thing that matters is the volume. Lots of volume and the price drops......work it out for yourself. I'll be back in sub-24p. | hodhasharon
16/12/2020 16:38 | Schroder sold 2.3 mill shares, not a lot really. certainly does not deserve a 4% drop, buys probably cleared them today already. | ![]() aljm
16/12/2020 15:57 | I have not been on here very long trading, but I can honestly say I am witnessing my first evidence of a Tree shake!!! what with buyers in excess of sellers by a 2:1 ratio. and the price keeps going down. Any thoughts? | ![]() rafflesintheuk01

16/12/2020 12:16 | Hi Everyone, Does anybody watch the Trades board? Can you please explain why there are so many low volume trades on this share? For example I see many in the volume range of 1- 20 shares traded. How would any investor make these trades with the commission costs and duty? I guess my real question is, is this the way that the MM's manipulate the price in a required direction? Happy for your thoughts! | ![]() rafflesintheuk01

15/12/2020 17:10 | All of this started around 2003 when the private equity guys started pushing the Return on Equity mantra which by nature required more debt. It didn't consider how dangerous that approach is when profits fall | ![]() dealy
15/12/2020 14:55 | Companies build up debt while huge director salaries are being paid and pension liabilities accrue. Then when the debt mountain starts the alarm bells ringing because the company isn't making big enough profits to be able to pay them down, the business assets start getting sold off and if there aren't enough of them to get rid of without ending up with no businesses the shareholders are usually asked to pay the debt.(ie placing to strengthen balance sheet). It's a cycle we've seen time and time again unfortunately. | ![]() nick rubens
