There will be a fund raise dealy just like your other share love 💘

NO DEAL would see this hit 20's

Massive debts and cash burn hence the fire sale going on.

no new bad news here. The disposal means there is no need for a fund raising. Operations will continue to be optimised. Plenty of new business to win.

Hod:

You maybe right but do you think Schroders are wrong in their large purchases above 20p?

Morning fellas,

I know it's hard to take, especially when you're sitting on a loss, but CPI is heading much lower IMHO (sub 20p).

There are so many multi-baggers out there (ODX, GDR, DDDD, TILS, AVCT).

Cut your losses and buy a few at the bottom in summer 2021-ish.

I was all for getting back in at 32p, but from where is the next materially significant news coming from to push this up further?

Not sure who compiles the ADVFN figures, but I have gone back to CPI's ACTUAL H1 results, released on 18-8-20.

On there, they give a NET DEBT figure of £1,096.6m, and that is accurate BEFORE any disposals since June, 2020.

Forget what ADVFN post up.

Regards,

Selling an asset to clear debt is great, but you're now a 400million smaller business, and that revenue generating asset is no longer supporting the balance sheet. That's why CPI will test all time lows.As will IAG.

Assets are positive,(liabilities)in brackets & all figures in millions

Cash 756
Overdraft (397)
Financial liabilitie in 1 yr (160)
Financial liabilities > 1 yr (1,009)

Net liability subtotal (810)
Leases in 1 yr (79)
Leases > 1yr (449)

Total including lease obligations (1,338)

ESS - less these elements of proceeds
Net liabilities assumed by sale 57
Consideration settled in cash 295
Consideration due on regulatory approval 45
i.e 397m to come off (1,338) = (941)
plus cash movement in/or out for trading period since 30 June.

& out of the consideration 50m will be returned to a Pension Scheme in repayment of a loan taken out on backing of IP owned by ESS*, assumed to be in the financial liabilities figures above. (*who thought that wheeze up?)

Its a sell IMO because of the P&L strength & prospects see lower part of Page 29 on link above which is before items that will be assessed fully at YE.

Panmure still has a sell on this despite welcoming this transaction (today's FT). So many crazily over valued tech shares and yet brokers think this is a sell

Clearly the market is not in love with CPI , £750 mkt cap and we have £400 million coming in from an initial investment of £10m , very impressive , the share price will soon get to £1.50 , will take another slug at 40p if it gets there .
