The problem now is it will struggle with renewals and new wins. The share price will remain depressed ahead of the offering too. People will no longer want to work here either so it will lose staff. Unfortunately it will be the talented ones. It's very ugly working for a firm which is going through this pain. Whilst I don't believe it is doomed, I do believe that it is going to be a long journey from here.

Another Woodford failure then !

I am starting to believe his involvement is a counter indicator !

Net debt is about double quick assets, so can,t see any value. Typical scenario of bad management being overpaid for jobs they are unable to perform!

So you are an expert on how and why the share price moves then........

Yes, but in this ever changing market, does any business within the CPI portfolio have a future role, perhaps it would be better to break the whole company up! After the debt, is there any value left here, strikes me that may not be the case!

Sold out at 235.72p and taken the hit. It was only a very small holding providing an estimated 0.21% of my income so it was an easy decision for me to make. I will sit on the cash for now.

Good luck to all holders.

are these actions being overdone? Cut the dividend entirely and sell businesses and raise equity?

Kudos to the bears though.

Well fair play to the new CEO. At least he is not burying his head in the sand. You have to sometimes eat humble pie and he is doing this by focusing on capitas core assets.

Not good for Woodford, not good at all, could see more redemptions, and I think PFG will be coming to the begging bowl soon!

Ironically, these are exactly the steps the board should be taking to repair its effectively bust balance sheet.

This statement does not bode well for CPI, seems to be burdened with a significant number of issues, and will ultimately become a very much smaller company, seems to be a victim of its making and has not invested in its businesses over the years, could see this opening with a two handle!

Chart looks horrible.

Long term downtrend with new lows nearly every other day and rallys sold into.

Clearly little love for them at present so any "nasties" in the update not likely to go down well.

Positives are the yield and people like Woodford thinks the fall is overdone.

My gut feel is wait for evidence that things have improved might miss the bottom but how many times have we thought the bottom is in and the dividend looks a little unsustainable to me.

There's one thing for sure - we won't see 500 again - at least for a couple of years. 200 is more likely before then.

this is looking like the next Carillion! How will they manage this massive debt? Although they may win some contracts following C collapse. Hmm - do I short.

Getting close to a double digit yield either market has this very wrong or there is trouble ahead.

What is the earnings outlook here, many of their clients are moving to cloud based provision of information, how far advanced is this company in that arena?

Downtrend continues - typical of a share price that is in freefall with weak support. A few days of sizeable drops, then a single up day of 2-3%, then the downtrend continues for a few days...
