02/6/2021 12:52 | My Arthur, No I'm just a shareholder here. So what he took a gamble in Liberia, it didn't work out, some lost money but it was their choice to invest in an oil explorer. I wasn't a shareholder through that, more interested in 226 as its appraisal. However events have taken a significant turn with the acquisition of circa 31mmbbls at just over $2/bbl. Pretty inspired stuff for sure. Why have you spoken to Essar, how do you know what they are? How fast do you think NNPC/DPR renew licences? Its a pretty long queue from what I can see. Don't worry though there's a long list of activities planned for the BFU and CCU upon their relist, the delist was a compulsory part of the RTO process. Regards, Ed. | edgein
02/6/2021 12:30 | "your" Arthur was responsible for the decline from 10pence to 0.1pence through extravagance, empty promises and downright lies. There may be some truth to the LSE post. Essar are fuming that the Nigerian licence wasnt re-ratified and I also believe its gone. As for the Atomic deal, very poorly managed with this de listing. | ayesha4
02/6/2021 12:17 | Satk, You can tell your friend Harold that when the share price dropped below 0.1p old Ed here was able to increase his holding by x30 of my original holding. I was buying right down when Phurley et al was telling everyone COPL was going bust. So with the size of my holding at an average below 0.1p I'm looking forward to the relist. I hope Harold is following Cuda as their recent results make interesting reading regarding the Barren Flats Unit production increase. Looking forward to the relist. Ask your friend Harold if he thinks Art will pick up some of the assets that the majors are pulling out of in the UK North Sea. I think he should, the old Oilexco hunting grounds of the CNS etc. Regards, Ed. | edgein
02/6/2021 10:58 | I do not think anyone in the COPL telegram group is going to believe this. Most likely just a rumour. | luckyabbeygale

01/6/2021 21:42 | First Post so please be gentle. One of my first on any media ever! Are these hedged prices? I see a lot of excitement from the rising WTI price, but is these hedged prices? Taken from this document (page4) hxxp://www.canoverse Oil Fixed price - WTI Futures 207,123 BBL April 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 $61.28 Oil Fixed price - WTI Futures 384,187 BBL January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022 $56.58 Oil Fixed price - WTI Futures 416,772 BBL January 1, 2023 to February 29, 2024 $52.87 | bashbosh
31/5/2021 12:09 | We were supposed to have had some progress on increased production. | phurley
26/5/2021 10:52 | Ride, I'm expecting more gradual progress towards mid-cap than immediate re-rate. Cap goes up as production goes up. With the accelerated gas injection rates and the ambitious and almost immediate plans for Cole Creek Unit and drilling of the Dakota and Frontier-2 wells progress could be quite rapid. NNPC has also been signing off on deals for other licences recently, so perhaps 226 is moving up the queue. COPL is in a much much better position now to exercise that option on 226 within 90 days of results of Noa-2. Can't see the option for that licence this year, but hopefully next (from memory it'll take 45-60 days to drill Noa-2 for example). If/when 226 extension granted can't see Essar hanging around though. Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/5/2021 10:38 | Do we expect a re-rate once trading resumes ? I think the MCAP before the suspension was around £60M ? | ride daice
26/5/2021 09:30 | SB, Interesting, hopefully see us listed again before the end of June, fingers crossed. 100-1 consolidation will put us down to a pretty low share issue that's for sure. After all the recent placings and the growing cashflow off the back of a strong WTI price we hopefully won't need any more funds. Also 226 when it eventually happens will be free carried through the first well. Regards, Ed. | edgein
