In a good holding position. Should stop the traders as there is too much FOMO and not enough change in price.

And what does the report say that we don't know already? I have been invested here for four years.

The trade shown as a sell for 6,758,374 shares is my buy from this morning, £21.19k.
Lots of buys from this morning showing as sells.

Maybe city analyst, maybe. But probably not before the clocks go back. That I can bet a very large sum of money on!

That was a clever move by Art to grant share options at a premium to the current share price.

Looks to have been oversold gain. Trouble is folk expect everything to happen in five minutes and it doesn’t.

Shauny,

Yes indeed today looks like a prime example of that. They moved it down on a perceived delay (even though the company didn't say extension had to be granted by the 30th). Traders were caught on the back foot and anyone unlucky enough to have sold is now struggling to get back in as the share price flys back up again on small volumes too.

The tiny cap here makes these compelling on extension of the licence given the agreement with Essar, Nigerians are notoriously slow but tend to get there in the end. COPL's strength is reflected by the size of its partners with Essar and Shoreline. Agreed, there'll be significant interest when the extension lands and the next acquisition. We may actually get some progress on the Moz PSC at some point too. The speed these move you'd need to watch your monitor non-stop to catch these swift moves. I was reading over other companies today and I missed the move from circa 2% up to almost 15% up. So anyone who has been trading these needs to be very careful or they'll find the door closed.

I don't currently post on the LSE, I do read there regularly and there's a lot of good posters over there. I don't really have the time unfortunately to post beyond ADVFN.

Regards,
Ed.

Great posts Ed, MM’s mopped up loads of shares last few days, the Del-Boys and get rich quick guys of the world were flushed out.

Totally agree, trying to get in news when RNS lands, impossible, you will be lucky to buy £50 worth.

If you believe in the COPL story and funds permitting, top up.

P.S. do you ever want to come on the LSE board? your thoughts and research are invaluable.

Asm5,

Good man, good price now that the short termers have moved on. Art has now dealt with the traders by removing the 30th Sept deadline. Its now up to the NNPC et al to get things moving with the licence and provide a definitive list of which companies have been successful in the 2020 bid round.

Regards,
Ed.

You must be mental. If you sold millions of these you'd never get them back again. Most of the time these go NT and try getting back in if the pending licence or acquisition news lands. Only small time punters are worried about the current price, I'm more interested in where it will be after they drill the fifth well into Noa.

Regards,
Ed.
