Well at least the prospectus should give us some more information about timing of these anticipated events.

Recordz.... Art only raised 6 weeks money ... not 12months money ,that gives a time frame for news . Copl will be out of cash again in a couple of months .Art must believe news is forth coming if not why so small a raise?

The longer the wait goes on, the less people believe it's going to happen and the price falls.
Someone sent an email to Art and He said He could have raised more money easily but didn't.
Whats the big deal. They needed money so they did a placing. What do people want them to do,run out out of cash.

yesterdays placing has given investors an opportuntiy to purchase cheap stock arpund 0.11p.

the market cap is still very very low.
the PB news could come any day and that would be the catalyst this stock needs for a rise.

There's loads of companies less further along than here and are capped a lot higher.
Priced even less now after todays Placing news.
"We expect to announce additional financing measures in the coming weeks."
That may change the markets view when it comes.

Yes same. The small amount raised is enough, fingers crossed, to see them to drilling. Certainly past the performance bond, rig contract etc. So again clear sky ahead now that the licence and short-term funding is sorted. Could be some material developments over the next couple of months.

Madmonk, That 11p target will be after drilling the Noa wells providing they're successful. Now that the placing is out of the way the chances now of a JV being necessary or likely have been reduced. So its looking like COPL are going to be drilling these wells at 40% wi. The target is 253mmbbls recoverable, Art has previously suggested 400mmbbls recoverable (gross). Each well predicted to do 6-10,000bopd per well, first phase up to 4 wells, FFD up to 29 wells. That's why they're predicting a market cap around £330m. Will they raise some more during or after these 3-4 wells, probably.

Take this as a positive .... never know but could end blue on the day .... actions speak louder than words ... that placing in 5/6 weeks expendeture , must be very close to news.
