the stinger everybody is on the sidelines and waiting for funding news and nigeria news.

so we are basically at a standstill between bulls and bears.

have taken a punt at these levels because i believe downside to be very limited.
this share can easily rise 200% to 300% in a day.its happened before.

nicky21, exactly..the market is pricing in that Copl will not be able to rise funds...how can they!! if it were as you say then why has the share price collapsed?..why no big investor?..

listen to the london south east interview and on there he does say they need working capital and it may not be an equity rise but other options.

The market is pricing in that Copl will not be able to rise funds and it will not drill on OPL 226 hence the low share price.

Does he mean Copl because this is the only oil stock i can see on the LSE which can give you a 10 bag with all the newsflow due and market cap is £2.8m.

He seems certain to go a head with the project.cannot see him selling Copls stake as thats what we are in for it OPl 226.

We are adjacent to OML 85 and Schlumberger are spending several hundred millions on the project.

Regarding Art and his gang..its not their fault that they had legal issues to sort out.that always comes when you invest in Nigeria(you have other companies out of the woodwork claiming the licence).Now all issues have been sorted let the fun begin.

agree the stinger too many have been burnt who bought at higher prices but at these levels the downside seems limited and the upside unlimited.i do feel sorry for those who bought at higher prices but that is how the stock market works.

The reason why this is trading at these levels is that the market is expecting a highly dilutiive Placing. The newsflow in the past fews months has been very positive.its all in the public domain.

nicky21... think all investors here over the years are well under and finding new investors may be difficult!! even though copl are/maybe on the cusp of eventually producing.. its all at great cost to PI's... Granted though,, anyone getting in at these levels may be rewarded well..
