Zimbabwe gold miner Caledonia (LON:CMCL) could potentially double in value in the next year, according to City broker Canaccord.
Following this morning results, which revealed a strong operating performance, analyst Dmitry Kalachev repeated his buy advice.
“Caledonia has proven track record of delivering results in a challenging environment and has the financial strength to finance growth internally, he said.
Strong balance sheet and cash generation leave ample room for further dividend growth.

Good news, they're committing to pay a dividend at least annually.

Once a year would be alright, I thought they might withdraw it. Having read the dividend policy again they will assess dividend payments annually ie. if they feel they need the cash for growth or acquisitions they won't pay a dividend. I'm not too bothered about this as I think the company is well managed and I would trust them to invest their money wisely.

Hi GWR7, the dividend will be given at least once per year with more update in May... I think they should give it twice per year...

Does anyone have any views on the dividend? I read it that they're looking to retain cash for the expansion.

Nice share option exercise. I think this means that the Directors think the price has a long way still to go and want capital gains tax rather than income tax to pay on it.

you should get 10p price target easily soon...I am waiting for a joint venture announcement to start exploitation of copper at Nama Zambia... if that can happen then the share price should double or triple within weeks..

Caledonia Mining is going to start exploiting Cobalt/Coppert in Zambia... might be in June 2013.. If that can happen the share price could be worth a fortune ...50p at least...dyor
