14/8/2019 10:16 | 1corrado - I think you need to change your glasses . Reading back through your posts was mind numbingly hard work but it does shed some light on your current sentiment ;-) | billwave
14/8/2019 10:13 | I think they need to do a buyback to get the shares to list in the US. There will be no appetite to issue shares to new holders at this level. | mad foetus
14/8/2019 10:11 | If you day trade the 15 minute tends to be the best signal and it looks pretty positive right now | mad foetus
14/8/2019 10:09 | The real boost to the share price will come when Burford do the following: 1. Do a large share buyback to the tune of £50-£100 2. Announce the US listing. I can see them doing both by end of September (i.e. before Brexit). | adnan17
14/8/2019 10:05 | Is a real struggle to day but looking for a downturn. | 1corrado
14/8/2019 09:58 | The false and slanderous accusations from Muddy waters have all been addressed and the effects are put behind us. Normality is returning to the market and this will only go one way. A gain of 30%-70% over the short to medium term to be expected and a possible multi bagger over the long term. Be out at your loss. DYOR | billwave
14/8/2019 09:54 | I imagine they could make more money outside Burford. Not sure their leaving needed to be disclosed. | brexitplus
14/8/2019 09:49 | When Burford bought GKC back in December 2016, they issued an RNS identifying the GKC principals as: Adam Gerchen Ashley Keller Travis Lenkner And stated: “The entire holding of principals' shares will be subject to a three-year lock-up and they will also enter into three-year employment agreements and multi-year non-compete agreements”. And: "Mr. Gerchen will join Burford's internal management committee and Messrs. Gerchen, Keller and Lenkner will join Burford's investment committee". Yet this article suggests they left after a year: Does anyone know whether Burford disclosed their leaving, I can't recall it. Although it was in December 2017 when they announced other management changes. | trident5
14/8/2019 09:46 | A chartered accountant (I am one also) in both the US and UK are legally obliged to report any fraudulent activities to the regulators. Hence, I find it surprising that none of the previous finance directors that left reported any fraud. If fraud is revealed in the future then those FD's will also be liable. Hence, I doubt there was any fraud. | adnan17
14/8/2019 09:38 | I suppose if the regulators want to see whether BBS have been used to manipulate share prices they are being given an open goal here by new posters with only one agenda. | mad foetus
14/8/2019 09:38 | cheers brexitplus Hopefully Woordford are not forced sellers, though I'm sure directors will keep buying (though not sure they will announce a buyback) | mister md

14/8/2019 09:27 | Mister, Old Mutual became Merian and Burford disclosed falling below 5%. | brexitplus
14/8/2019 09:18 | How do you know they are not still buying ?? | exile
14/8/2019 09:17 | Uphill struggle here today Bots attacking any rises , could change later depends what the M/Ms or Mayfair Mafia want to do. | wardy333
14/8/2019 09:17 | correct so below 800p coming soon | 1corrado
14/8/2019 09:13 | For the sake of balance a couple of points: Comparing the major shareholders list on their website to that shown above in this thread (6 Jan 2019), what happened to FIL Limited, Old Mutual, Fidelity and Aberdeen AM - did they all sell with only Woodford/Invesco remaining ? Also, whilst the director buys are massive, Molot and Bogart did cash in 60 million pounds each last year, so still a fraction of that re-invested | mister md
14/8/2019 09:00 | Yes, I found this really astonishing, in today's "Times" article: "Incorporated in Guernsey, run from America, listed on Aim. Talk to Burford Capital boss Christopher Bogart and there’s no sense he’s in any rush to overhaul the company’s “laughter-indu The last comment! Really! That means that ordinary PI's invest blind? Truly astonishing. And truly arrogant! | galatea99
14/8/2019 09:00 | Mr Wilson bought another 29,410 shares at £7.03 yesterday. | ozzmosiz
14/8/2019 08:58 | another director buy RNS | mister md
