11/1/2005 17:34 | As the chart on this BB starts on 5-Jan, it appears that these were floated on that day at 80p; however these were in fact floated on 4-Jan at 50p. | mangal
11/1/2005 17:23 | Well if this floated at 80p without any assets then doesn't that make it a cash shell? In that case it should automatically be discounted by 50%, so I agree with spiv1, - anywhere around 40-50p would represent fair valuation and a fair entry point. If it drops any less then its just negative sentiment and probably represents a bargain. | specul8or
10/1/2005 19:53 | does this company have a website? is the original admission prospectus available online? i will definately be investing in this company but the question is when is the right time to get in ? | roodboy
10/1/2005 17:18 | And down we go. I remain a buyer at 50p and I think we'll see it fairly soon too. | spiv 1
10/1/2005 15:00 | Just on the outskirts of Sofia very nice to! | c3jns
10/1/2005 13:47 | Where did you buy ? | peterstilgoe
10/1/2005 13:22 | I have been looking for a while to purchase a holiday home in Bulgaria,i suceeded last month in which the demand is quite staggering. The price of property is begining to rise, as i had to pay a lot more than intended,so i think this is a great opportunity to be involved in something which is going to be big. | c3jns
09/1/2005 13:43 | the only bears that are around are the cfd boys.just buy the book at your newsagent a place in the sun feb 2005 £3.25 headlines booming bulgaria 15 pages buyers guide bpd the best play for bulgaria even if you dont want to buy in bulgaria buy bpd to be part of the boom. | dwelshmafia
09/1/2005 12:39 | I wouldnt be to worried about bugs, its the Bulgarian bears, I hear they come from the hills at nite & remove foreigners from their beds & take them back into the woods to be savagely eaten. My friends gone, the only thing left of him is his Jimmy Tarbuck keyring & a packet of twiglets that was in his pocket....... www.beartraps.com if your planning on going, could save your life. | peterstilgoe
09/1/2005 12:34 | I'm not too keen on bugs bbbb. | dave37
09/1/2005 12:27 | have you bought there yet dave? could be an opportunity for a little retro-indulgence in former apparatchik-style rest £ recreation - after sweeping any residual bugs and hidden cameras... | bbbb
09/1/2005 11:44 | has any one seen this yet february 2005 book in all newsagent and shops £3.25 a place in the sun 4 front page booming bulgaria 15 page buyers guide.the eight countries which joined the eu this year have been enjoying a massive economic and property boom for the decade.at the moment, property prices in the capital, sofia are about half that of prague."based on current and historic data, prices are forecast to more than double by the time bulgaria ia envisaged to join the eu in 2007 and so on its all there in the book in black and white buy it.just look at the rise the building stocks rose in the property boom.in the book it say that with prices amazingly low, some have been tempted to buy without even visiting bulgaria, let alone seeing the property.so what is it thats so attractive about this country which lies at the crossroads of europe and asia and in the heart of the balkans, thats been described as the "HOT NEW COSTA DEL SOL". | dwelshmafia
07/1/2005 12:53 | Just had a look through the BPD offer & I cant see anywhere that is specifies it already owns land in any given area, it just highlights areas thats its looking at to invest. | peterstilgoe
07/1/2005 11:17 | I revised my buying target down to 55p - I don't think you will get initial purchasers (at 50p) to be taking a loss at this stage. Many others bought way higher and the majority of those that were going to bale out probably have gone now | the juggler
07/1/2005 11:03 | Thank goodness I wasn't tempted to BUY ....although agree with the view that anything under the issued price should represent a good long term play on the improving situation in Bulgaria. @40p I'm a buyer for sure. | j bravo esq
07/1/2005 10:13 | Yeah its gone but never found out how much, prob best I dont look :-) lol | peterstilgoe
07/1/2005 10:10 | I hate to think how much that is going for now. It has been sold i take it ? Speaking from experience, the paperwork can be a nightmare. Things that appeared to be finalised can suddenly not be, as the municipality / architects office / planning dept suddenly drop something else on you. | fft
07/1/2005 10:00 | I went over to buy 12000 sqm plot about 5 mins walk from the gondola station, a near where the golf course is going to be. I reserved it & tried to pull a consortium together to buy it & develop, its was 100% profit straight away once completed, & projections were very exciting over 3, 5 & 10 years. Dropped it in the end because it was so hard getting things in writing confirming that it is regulated, where the roads are going to run for def etc. All very wish washy & too much money at stake.........sure it could have been done but I got the impression that they didnt acknowledge the kind of money we were spending on it, I got the same treatment as buying a plot for 10,000 Euro | peterstilgoe
07/1/2005 09:31 | I suspect that these shares will continue to drift on very thin trading volumes and lack of news flow. People get dismayed when a share like this continues to drift on a weekly basis and they bail out and put their money into a more actively traded share. I'm sure this one will come good eventually ,but a more suitable entry level would be around the 50-55p . Good luck all! | squintyflinty
07/1/2005 09:25 | Nope. Some people i know in Sofia head down there occasionally at the weekends, so i am going to see if they want to go down that weekend. Havnt been there before, but i have heard good things about the new 4 man chairlifts :-) Unfortunately they seem to be snowboarders but no-one is perfect ! I was also told over a very enjoyable lunch with my cleaner yesterday (who is from the area) about a rather nice new hotel that has opened up which she wanted me to check out.... Know what you mean about land. Should have bought a lot more when i was first looking around. Bansko now seems very expensive. | fft
07/1/2005 08:56 | Do you own in Bansko fft ? | peterstilgoe
07/1/2005 08:53 | Got ur email, I'll drop you a line. Skiing in Bansko, very nice, you'l have to let me know how things are developing there, I heard a lot of good things from a few people whilst there about things starting to happen, shame I hadnt visited earlier before the new gondola system was built, worthless farmers land that was only used for potato growing suddenly became their ticket to instant retirement ! | peterstilgoe
07/1/2005 08:48 | peter, I should still be around that weekend (unless i am skiing in Bansko). Send me an email at fft999@hotmail.com and i'll pass on my Bulgarian mobile number. Its always useful to compare notes. | fft
07/1/2005 08:37 | The Sofia ring road is due to complete in 2010. | peterstilgoe |
