17/1/2005 23:24 | As expected, volume slowly ebbing away. Only 29000 traded today. I suspect it'll slowly drift down from here to around 60p. Can't see much to move it then until there's further news or it gets tipped. Could be a great buy sub 60p if you're patient. | spiv 1
17/1/2005 07:43 | Could meet for a beer a week on Sat if your still on Sofia, I will be there with 2 friends so if your at a loose end, we will be enjoying the local ale around sofia :-) | peterstilgoe

16/1/2005 14:04 | Sounds like a Jim Beans is on the cards then ? ;-) | peterstilgoe
16/1/2005 13:59 | I will be in Sofia for at least a week starting tomorrow. If anyone wants to meet up for a beer, coffee, look at property, discuss the fog (its that time of year), head off to the hills, or has any other ideas, then let me know. Due to both an unexpected separation last week (not mine) and a hastily arranged bank seminar (which i am not going to), i have a lot more spare time than i was anticipating.... | fft
14/1/2005 15:07 | I had been out most of the day & it was the 1st time they had been able to drink for 6 months or summat, so you can imagine. I remember bits. Yeah its def worth a visit ! | peterstilgoe
14/1/2005 15:05 | "Was packed full of nice women & lovely bar maids, was a good night by all accounts." Does that mean you cant remember ? ;-) Sounds like I'll have to check it out next week. | fft
14/1/2005 14:29 | Not sure to be honest FFT, I got caught up with some US marines in a bar in Sofia city centre & they had been recommended it by some of their platoon who had been their earlier in the year, so went there with them & their driver. It was a taxi ride on the outskirts of Sofia. Was packed full of nice women & lovely bar maids, was a good night by all accounts. All the taxi drivers know of it so maybe worth a look ;-) | peterstilgoe
14/1/2005 14:25 | Peter, where is Jim Beans ? Sounds new, cant recollect having been there before. Biswell, where are you getting 20-25% ? Not in sofia at the moment surely ? | fft
13/1/2005 16:46 | I know that I could have bought at 0.25 in the summer but I already have 180000 tickets so I do not have to buy at 1 BGN. But I haven't made up my mind whether to sell the tickets with a big profit or try buying some BTC stocks. By the way the tickets were stopped from trading today on the BSE | monsan
13/1/2005 16:39 | lol You could have bought tickets in the summer for 0.25BGN for the float on BTC, now theyre above 1BGN, I was advised looking very overvalued at 1BGN, will be interesting. | peterstilgoe
13/1/2005 16:35 | A bar maid??? Well that is interesting... I don't usually go to that bar and don't know the staff. Sorry :-( | monsan
13/1/2005 16:34 | So they got circa £4.5M, and it's a Bulgarian speculative punt, cos I don't think that they have bought a single Bulgarian brick yet. see this extract 'It is currently possible to achieve high rental yields on property.Rental yields on residential property are currently in the range of 10 - 12 percent. of the purchase cost and on commercial/industria If you can't get 20% to 25% plus from a buy at pres, then you ain't buying right, so I guess they look like buying new city appts | biswell
13/1/2005 16:33 | peterstilgoe, thx for the link. I'm really very keen to see what will happen from tomorrow with BTC :-) This week will be very intersting on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange! | monsan
13/1/2005 16:30 | Can you get me the phone number of a bar maid at Jim Beans please monsan ? | peterstilgoe
13/1/2005 16:29 | Well, I really don't no much about BPD as it is registered in the UK and on the LSE, while I live in Sofia, Bulgaria. But if you need info on something here I can try helping you on finding it. | monsan
13/1/2005 16:26 | Monsan: BTC looks overpriced now so didnt get in on the float, needed to get the tickets 3 months ago. | peterstilgoe
13/1/2005 16:23 | After a good debut, the share is finding a new level. What cash have they got? What properties have they bought ...and when ? What kind of property are they buying and What area are they buying in ? B | biswell
13/1/2005 16:21 | Yes, and the Romanian Stock exchange. Are you trading there or you are just kidding? | monsan
13/1/2005 16:01 | Or the Romanian stock exchange monsan ;-) | peterstilgoe
13/1/2005 16:00 | I've been going through this forum only because I find it interesting to see what are the comments about Bulgaria and the property market in the country as I'm Bulgarian. Further a friend of mine that is English asked me sometime back of my opinion of BPD. So I got even more interested. I knew about the BPD launch but was not interested in it as there are far more profitable stocks for me on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. But if you want my advice BPD is good only in the long run as they will not have good results the next couple of years as they have not started the buildings that they are talking about. | monsan
12/1/2005 15:18 | seems to have support at 70p | roodboy
12/1/2005 12:51 | just buy and stick away wait for 2007 and sell price 4 to 5 pounds. | dwelshmafia
12/1/2005 10:56 | Any ideas regarding cash position after listing costs etc and annual cash burn. regards | targatarga
12/1/2005 10:46 | The problem with this company in my opinion is momentum. After the initial market interest what is there to keep this company in the spotlight? Very little. I expect this to drift and then drift lower. Alfred | alfred palfred |
