It's not a go at BT per se

Most of the FTSE High trading share prices are full on distribution points..and the lower trading ones even more weak

Dunno how the index is in the 7600s really but it looks generally fkd despite elections to come in US and here etc

Macro just to heavy for a traditional year

Orange sells on approx 10 X forward (FY 2024) - 9 X FY 2025.

They generate approximately double the BT annual pre tax profit, yet net debt for Orange is similar to BT.

This is a lowly rated sector currently (outside of the UK market) and many of the comments here appear not to acknowledge this.

You would think a Financial Publication that is read by very few would remain on the fence or at unbiased but the FT can't help themselves. Almost fanatical they are!

These are being shorted no doubt about it!

I hardly ever here the FT say anything ever positive about the UK, No coincidence they are very anti Brexit!

Their net broadband customer loses exceeded previous expectations.- this was discussed in the FT and elsewhere.

Their figs weren't bad but relentless shorting on this and other Stocks by Hedgies and Algos.
