You have to wonder what price the Shorts want and who is there to sell?
Are they competing against eachother?

Institutions won't sell and I doubt many PIs will.

I guess all it takes is someone to borrow shares from and there is no shortage of that! Seems the case these days with FT350 companies coming out with a positive update, we see that spike in the opening auction followed with selling for the rest of the day.

We've been here before 3 years ago, not a nice place to be. Grateful for the divi though. They can't cut the divi as the results won't allow them to

Im paying for a landline I've not used in years, BT TV, BT Sports, high speed broadband, Netflix is included as well.

My other half needs a fair amount of mobile data for work so pays extra for that on the mobile contract.

The landline and BT TV are getting the axe to start with.

I'm paying BT nearly £100 a month, which includes 2 mobiles.

That will be slashed come renewal, as currently paying for packages I don't make use of.

All BT seems to have by way of 'Guides' they now describe themselves, is a Retentions team making the last-ditch attempt to deal with matters before a customer throws in the towel and goes elsewhere. Although I haven't found them reliably capable nowadays. Getting any resolution on a matter with BT seems to require making multiple calls with a 1 in 5-10 chance each time, you might get referred to someone who can sort the matter out.

Yes I did say this morning, "You need to be clear whether this can be resolved or is a matter for Ombudsman or I leave BT."

Dilemma with Ombudsman is that can last 6 months. Went down that road after serious mis-selling by EE, during which time they were taking money monthly for a package I had rejected once it turned out different from what was sold; but I had set up bank details for when applying. 6 months for Ombudsman to wake up, then a lawyer to EE rang me offering £100 to end the matter, which I agreed to. But it dragged on because EE Billing kept re-iterating, they could only re-pay me if I kept the direct debit open. They continued to take money monthly for another 3-4 months after the initial complaint was 'resolved', and I eventually got all the money back.

What a pair of Ugly Sisters they are, BT/EE, yes made for each other.

How can this spike up 6pts to then going down other than sheer manipulation??

Edmond, there's usually a customer relations team who deal with complaints that cannot be resolved by
a call centre agent. Customer relations are the team who send a final response/resolution letter (you may be aware of this).

Mention going to the Ombudsman and that often results in a more satisfactory conclusion.
