Trading statement looks largely positive to me. The at home business is strong, but as hospitality opens up through the summer months we should see more growth.Overall happy with this trading statement against the backdrop of Covid. Soon see what the market thinks.

Philanderer, it's looking up! The momentum for northerly price movement is evident IMO. Brokers agreeing with me is always a concern, hopefully on this occasion it will help.

The British Soft Drinks Association (BSDA) has appointed Britvic managing director Paul Graham as its new president.

The BSDA represents UK producers of soft drinks, including carbonated drinks, still and dilutable drinks, fruit juices and bottled waters. In 2020, Graham was appointed vice president of the trade body.

Graham joined Britvic back in September 2012 and was promoted to his current role as GB managing director in July 2013.

Prior to this, Graham served in a range of commercial roles across all trade channels for United Biscuits and Mars Confectionery.

Graham will succeed Marnie Millard, the chief executive of Nichols, the producer of Vimto. During her time as president, Millard has led a number of initiatives including the BSDA’s role as a founding member of Circularity Scotland, a scheme administrator for Scotland’s deposit return scheme (DRS).

Britvic PLC (LON:BVIC) said it is planning to launch new drinks as it looks to build on the share gains in the at-home segment, while the out-of-home channel recovers.

The drinks producer plans to add new flavours, different pack formats and introduce added health benefits, as well as marketing campaigns such as the Pepsi MAX Champions League sponsorship and Wimbledon themed activity for Robinsons in GB.

It will also relaunch energy drink Rockstar and integrate Plenish, a plant-based drinks manufacturer acquired earlier this month.
