30/6/2010 08:20 | Agreed costa. I am in for the long term here. Good dividend while i wait too. | gswredland
29/6/2010 19:08 | No not at all. Although I still wonder why the directors made very significant purchases last month. I do wonder if they released the mediocre trading update (and specifically mentioned silage) as a result of the ongoing OFT investigation. No better way to say you are not price fixing then say your profits are lower as a result of increased input costs! Short term could be volatile but long term I still think it is a good buy at these levels. | costanz
29/6/2010 10:50 | not a very inspiring trading update | sleveen
17/6/2010 12:43 | thanks for that gingerplant | gswredland
15/6/2010 12:45 | and all "buys" so far today | nicd
08/6/2010 16:32 | Not till this price fixing investigation is done. Fall still looks overdone mind and these are certainly on my shortlist. | thepopeofchillitown
08/6/2010 13:39 | holdings RNS just issued but when will the share price recover? Hopefully before my retirement age. | nicd
28/5/2010 09:17 | Double bottom??....and with Director buys expecting this back towards 300p soon ;-) | aspers
15/5/2010 09:01 | Exactly! A very good sign when they invest a further £250,000 into the company. | costanz
14/5/2010 15:51 | Well you have to say the directors do put their money where their mouths are! | everton448
13/5/2010 22:33 | Times tomorrow: British Polythene Industries: Shares in the packaging company fell by as much as 8 per cent after it confirmed that it had been raided by European regulators as part of an investigation into uncompetitive practices in the agricultural plastic wraps market. The company said in a statement that it expected its first-half results to be in line with last year. | boozey
13/5/2010 11:55 | I think the possible fine related to total - not just divisional turnover so could be a heavy hit if they are found guilty. any legal expert able to comment? My gut feel is that they will continue to drift down until this issue is resolved. | pugugly
13/5/2010 08:14 | marked down on very little volume.. | gswredland
12/5/2010 18:53 | Not too worried to be honest. Argiculture makes up around 30% of income, and even if they are found guilty (which I doubt) they can cop the fine. | costanz
12/5/2010 18:06 | Investigation ?? Any thoughts on this ?? | s34icknote
12/5/2010 13:22 | Just thought I would pop in and give you an update on material prices. Over the past 3 months the price per tonne has risen by about 13% to around £1,650 Over the past 6 months the price per tonne has risen by about 10% Over the past year the price per tonne has risen by about 25% May explain the weakness that currently here, unfortunately, the trend will continue upwards until after the Aug shutdown gg | greengiant
26/4/2010 14:48 | And there you go nice little bounce today. I don't pretend to inderstand what drives these movements short term but I would be confident if you bought at these levels you will see around £1 profit at some point this year. As always it won't be a straight line | makingheaps
23/4/2010 13:15 | Pretty stable now at £2.50. Climg aboard for the next £1 hike. Only a matter of time. Don't miss out | makingheaps
09/4/2010 16:53 | I really like this share. Sold just before xmas and made a nice profit. Now at levels screaming great value again. If we find support will be back in without a doubt. | thepopeofchillitown |
