.....pregnant silence. Is it a trap? Which one is real? Maybe he took the pills like the nurse told him to. How long till they wear off? So many questions....

Very nice redbaron10. Care to say where in Cornwall? I do like The Lizard but haven't been there in over decade. I used to caravan with family at Marazion and have fond memories of eating fish and chips out of newspaper (lots of vinegar and salt) at Porthleven.

No I can't claim to be a Ross Poldark look-a-like with my own tin mine, but I do have a little fishing boat for some bass and mackerel fishing so I'm doing alright.

Presumably you are wearing flip flops, are covered in moss, sitting next to a ginge called Demelza and waiting for a shipwreck. We do like a nice stereotype in our little bat bubble.

Yes, I am perhaps part of the problem but I do offer pragmatic and realistic solutions which is more than most of you are cable of offering. Burying heads in the sand and wondering around in bubbles, wishful thinking and states of denial are the general conditions exhibited by the Little Englanders of today.

"Filter me if you like. But that is your loss."

I'm honestly not sure what someone would be losing out on? Interesting that you bring up Germany as a comparison. Germans I know are astounded at the amount of time brits at work waste on phones/social media - including investments boards. And wasting time on investment boards ranting about the state of the country and gammon seems like a bigger waste of time than usual. It's likely that you are as much part of the problem as the rest of us.

In some circles missing apostrophes are 'foul language'. ;)

No, you use a new thread. Here I have a suggestion: call it the 'Ignorant Gammon Thread'. Have ADG as the thread moderator, he is ideal for it.

So use the private message facility or start a new thread Blacksmith as obviously we are not your type.

ADG also said this:

:Looks like you have a problem - 40 posts +++ per day - many of them quite long and time consuming."

Of course it can be 40 odd posts a day. This is my full-time business. Unlike him I can also write very fast on a computer keyboard. I don't have to look at it. I guess ADG is a two-fingered typist who struggles with computers and is lucky to write two words a minute even if he tries. There are also things called iPhones and iPads which I use all the time.

Hi adg,

No point in engaging, just filter anyone who makes your blood pressure rise. Much easier.

Cheers,

You have the problem and it originates in your jealousy and inferiority complex.

Just use the filter to cut out the morons. At least it means you don't have to waste time reading non productive garbage.
