16/7/2024 07:58 | ... Similar DtE ratio at Ibstock and Marshalls(around 30%) higher at Forterra (52%) lower at Travis Perkins (22%), zero at Michelmersh. BRCK and Michelmersh have much lower PE because of being AIM stocks. | cordwainer
16/7/2024 07:18 | Agree about the acquisitions, debt is getting a little high for my liking. | bellymonster
16/7/2024 07:02 | Increase in dividend goes ahead regardless - there appears to be enough cash to ride out at least another couple of years of the 'current challenges' and I'm following the consensus of gradually improving conditions ahead anyway. As an aside, I might also have shares in the unnamed insurance company which the DB pension has been transferred to (LGEN or AV.?) Actually my main worry is I think they should take a raincheck on acquisitions. | cordwainer
16/7/2024 06:35 | A little worrying but I suppose not entirely unexpected for a tough year in the building sector. Encouraging talk for the future particularly if this government does actually start to build houses. | bellymonster

15/5/2024 12:56 | RNS 10th MayWhy were the two transactions only just notified when the trades were 12th and 19th April? Thought the regs are you have to notify within 3 days? Also checking the share price range for these days, the price never went as low as low as the 59,750 purchase price 62.097p.Something seems odd overall with that RNS. | disc0dave46
14/5/2024 06:31 | RNS yesterday "Brickability Group PLC, the leading construction materials distributor, announces that it has been informed that Douglas Bryce, Managing Director within the Contracting Division, has purchased 250,000 ordinary shares of 1 penny each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") each at a price of 71 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this purchase, Douglas Bryce is beneficially interested in 809,750 Ordinary Shares in the Group representing 0.25% of the issued share capital of the Company." Makes clear earlier transactions were purchases too. | alter ego
10/5/2024 13:32 | rmilleree - OK point taken. It's incorrectly recorded. | barnesian
10/5/2024 13:10 | What am I missing? you are missing the fact they have clearly completed the form wrongly - does that matter? i think everyone is in agreemnent that its a share purchase so the form being completed wrongly isnt over important. Lets not pretend its completed correctly though. if you stll think its worded correctly look at the similar release from 28th february which was also a purchase of shares - that release correctly says "purchase of shares" not "sale of shares" - one of these 2 must be wrongly worded and its clear to me that release 28th feb makes sense when read and the release today says the opposite of what is being done when read at face value. Note i am not an expert in how these forms should be completed but it seems an obviously wrong un to me | rmillaree
10/5/2024 12:31 | It was a SALE of 559,750 Ordinary Shares in the Group to Douglas Brycelt who thereby increased his holding from zero to 559,750 shares. It seems straightforward. What am I missing? That's the way investors have interpreted it. The transaction was both a sale and a purchase as all transactions are. | barnesian
10/5/2024 12:24 | maybe it was both ? a sell followed by a buy. by mistake. | cordwainer

10/5/2024 11:51 | Did he chuffing buy or sell?, unbelievable they can't get a simple holdings RNS correct.I'm assuming it's a buy as can't see he currently owns any stock and the 559,750 does equate to 0.18%, so his first purchase!?. | disc0dave46

10/5/2024 09:00 | The market likes it anyway ? | simmsc
10/5/2024 08:53 | They’ve reissued the RNS this morning. Still looks wrong! Purchase or sale?! | techno20 |
