Roger McDowell, Non-Executive Chairman commented:

"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Edward for his long service as a Board member. His guidance to the Board and the business over this time has been extremely important, providing sound counsel and strong leadership. The Board and I are grateful for all he has brought to the business, and we wish him well for the future."

If you say so.

Just spotted todays RNS (not reflected on the BA website) - Beale has resigned. I noticed that the RNS about the AGM was posted on 24th November - whereas the BA website claims to have posted on there on 15th November with a .pdf dated 21st November. It feels like they are keeping it low profile - but I will be going.

The company website has now had an update - the news section has a post dated 15th Nov 2022 which when you click it, takes you to a .pdf dated 21st November 2022 (odd that the date is after the shown news post date??) that details the AGM date and venue (19th Dec at BA HQ). This is going to be an interesting meeting with hopefully some tough questioning and actions. I do hope that the board members also attend and make a better job of it than that pathetic webinar we endured on 8th November.

one might ask why "profits" are not always the top priority of a company?

Reading the results it appears that Project 50 has been shelved in favour of trying to effect a quick return to profitability.

Dipike - many thanks and i totally agree with you! Also when i looked at the website the other day, the shareholder list was very old and not reflecting the recent acquisition - totally misleading. Indicates a sloppy management not interested in shareholders at all.

Minor detail but it shows lack of attention to detail. If you download the Final Results document dated 8th November 2022 and open up the document details it states that the document title is "Swallowfield plc" (which is the former name that was changed in 2019) - it also shows this as the header when you read the document. The document detail box also states that the author is "Mark Warren" - former FD of Swallowfield who stood down in 2017. It is just an edited version of an old document - very amateurish for an AIM listed PLC.

No mention of Project 50 in today's presentation. Is it shelved?

Project "£50m" now looks like Ed Miliband's 2015 "set in stone promise": brushed under the carpet and glossed over as an historical clanger. This BoD has failed shareholders.

perhaps that's why the tr1 holder increased to almost 15% today. Perhaps they see that better managment and this recovers. Maybe they even want to take it over?

The webinar is just full of excuses - I'm listening to it right now. How could it cost £800k to administer the InovaD acquisition? Even the FD could not be bothered to go into the office for the annual address to shareholders: looks like he is on Teams video from his spare bedroom. It says a lot about how the company is run to me. Jam tomorrow promises again

I'm not going to try to sugar coat the awful results, but there are a couple of bright spots which make me think this might not be as uninvestible as I previously thought.

Firstly, the pension deficit has reduced considerably and if it stays much lower then at the next triennial valuation I would hope the deficit payments can also be reduced significantly conserving cash.

Secondly with the price where it is now the shares are trading at a significant discount to NTAV, NCA and net cash. I don't expect cash flow to be any near as bad next year as it was this year as they invested £3m in working capital, £2m for the acquisition of Innovaderma and £1.3m in the pension fund.

At 25p I may have a small punt.

Good volume today - albeit most likely a bit of double counting if not more. However, it is clear the BOD no longer control the destiny of this company´s ownership - this is likely to be the beginning of the end of BA as an independent company. The Q is only what price the tired shareholders will be offered. At 40p i am sure they will all take the money and run - far, far away from McDowell et al……R30;..what a fiasco this is!

I guess the Creighton people are sharpening their knives currently - they were a potential predator for IDP so now they have a great chance to eventually get their hands on this!

Snouts in the trough meets lack of ability. Dreadful.
Paid £9.1m for IDP to end up with a combined market cap of barely £8m.
Take a bow gents!

Terrible results announced by Brand today and now the Chairman must surely be ousted. It is unbelievable how this company has destroyed shareholders values in recent years and clearly the Chairman now has to resign.
