15/11/2022 07:51 | I think Cenkos had 51p but they are still on track to exceed by a fair amount | rimau1
15/11/2022 07:51 | Research from Cenkos... Outlook and valuation. The order book was up 10%, $55.5m (FY22: $50.0m), with the outlook for the year positive. We maintain our forecasts following the interim results and the shares trade on attractive multiples with an underlying FY23E PE of just 6.3x and EV/EBITDA of 4.4x, considerably lower than the main listed comparator, Clarkson Plc. With a forecast 11.25p dividend for FY23E, the shares provide a prospective yield of 3.5%. At our DDM valuation of 470p, the shares would trade on 9.2x and 12.0x FY23E and FY24E PEs respectively, still a substantial discount to Clarkson (14.5x PE FY22). | cwa1
15/11/2022 07:40 | If Carlsberg did results, might they look something like these? :-) FWIW my notes had the normalised EPS forecast for 2023 as 41.6p as well... | cwa1
15/11/2022 07:34 | They're miles ahead aren't they? 31.8p EPS in H1, I'm seeing 41.6p forecast for the FY- is that correct? | se81
15/11/2022 07:11 | Excellent results, and more importantly a confident outlook statement. BMS remains seriously undervalued IMO on a single digit eps. | rimau1

03/11/2022 18:56 | The market seems to like the RNS from BMS this afternoon: Ten-strong Natural Gas desk will all start work at Braemar in November. The new desk will primarily broke EU gas, UK National Balancing Point (NBP) gas, and LNG, as well as European Union carbon allowances (EUAs) The desk is a natural complement to Braemar's Securities desks | whittler100

30/8/2022 10:27 | from Edison: 'As a result, we have raised FY23 and FY24 PBT forecasts by 66% and 31% respectively and lifted our valuation from 400p to 520p per share on raised dividend expectations.' | mfhmfh
30/8/2022 09:50 | Read-across to other businesses may reflect a strong dollar, but will also reflect ongoing high shipping costs. | edmundshaw
30/8/2022 09:24 | Well today's update was definitely worth waiting for. A refocused business with the core business absolutely flying! An interesting read across for other businesses benefiting from a super strong US$ in the UK market. Maybe this effect hasn't been reflected in quite a few EPS forecasts on some smaller companies. | topvest
30/8/2022 08:50 | Edison research:- | cwa1
30/8/2022 08:42 | I'd add on this fantastic news, but I already have more than enough having added after previous positive updates. Shipyards' order books are full into 2025, so tight shipping and newbuilding looks to continue for a long time. We are already looking at another massive 100%+ uplift in profits for the current year (ending in only 6 months' time!!). Rerating should be sustained and significant! Stonking is a much overused word, so gangbusters will also do fine... | edmundshaw
30/8/2022 08:37 | should be 400p. IMHO. | mfhmfh
30/8/2022 07:24 | Prelims... ...as well as a Trading update on the same day... Wow...the only word for those is...gangbusters :-) | cwa1
19/8/2022 15:08 | Looks like the AGM resolutions threw up a couple of substantial votes against, which is noted in the narrative. Also a change of name to Braemar PLC has been passed | cwa1
17/8/2022 16:03 | Braemar has seemed cheap for years. The financial press has talked it up too, but nothing seems to move the share price up much. The dividends are not great either. A rise to 300 would be a welcome opportunity to sell the last my holding and have done with it. Here's hoping. | 1knocker
