28/11/2017 09:08 | $0.5 million spent in legal and professional fees rebutting the COC proposals! Those "cash machine" allegations appear wholly misplaced in retrospect. | sivadnoj
28/11/2017 07:32 | With COC on the brick of a 30% threshold this should provide the momentum to keep the PIs interested in what happens next. The downside risk has been mitigated with the dismantling of the Scottish boys club and the vested interests that kept KH et al in place. No more incestuous board where executives were not held to account because they scratched each others back. They should all be ashamed at the way they recklessly enriched themselves in the face of shareholder value destruction. The execution plan has been surprisingly swift and professional. I hope its not too little too late. Let's wait and see. | 3waysout
27/11/2017 19:54 | Some comment on recent events; | cyan
27/11/2017 17:16 | Going back to the removal of the old board - COC have pretty much executed the plan to date. Now sitting at 27.9% and Bomono a write off the holding company will focus on Etinde. New Age have definitely been more active on the PR front recently and interesting their Twitter account felt it necessary to tweet the BLVN board change. Looks like there is something to look forward to for 2018. | yasrub
27/11/2017 16:47 | Warbaby the losses from exploration are in the Cameroon subco. If the topco is bought the new owner also owns the subco. Any production revenues in the subco can be offset against tax thus recovering costs before tax is paid. The subco can pay a divi up to topco. All subject to Cameroon law obviously and just my opinion. | loglorry1
27/11/2017 16:40 | A small accounting question - can accumulated trading losses incurred by Bowleven the trading company be utilised by Bowleven the holding company and, more importantly, by any trading company acquirer of Bowleven the holding company. | warbaby43
27/11/2017 07:39 | Guns,not for anyone holding over 50p, which I imagine are a lot, including me! | symbo
27/11/2017 07:30 | "With Bowleven completing its transition to a holding company" Thus endeth any notion of continuing operatorship at Bomono - and Amen to that! | warbaby43
23/11/2017 09:14 | KH acquired a stable of fine racehorses off the well deserved CEO salary!!! | pjj71
22/11/2017 22:49 | So Blvn could be taken private for 45-50p max? Not too bad actually. | gunsofmarscapone
22/11/2017 16:44 | Something to read while we wait. "Bowleven - is there value here? Crown Ocean thinks so" | cyan
22/11/2017 12:14 | Yes , mark_jm | cyan
21/11/2017 22:04 | Isnt there an AIM rule some where about any one with a 30% holding having to make a mandatory off for the company? | mark_jm
21/11/2017 17:21 | CoC holding now 27.91%. Hopeful with a bit more patience value will be achieved - reassuring with such a healthy cash position - no distress situation and CoC will look to maximise Etinde. | yasrub
21/11/2017 17:14 | PJJ71 Are you for real ? Under KH's direction he destroyed shareholder value. Bad decisions made by a man who cared not for us. Am i a fan of COC ? not really but you have to accept that KH & his toads were rubbish & as such they deserved to be booted. Large salaries & no ability & that's it. In short, KH & Co got what they deserved but leave us in the hands of COC I doubt he gives a sh1t as he's to busy enjoying his own lifestyle. Personally I think he got what he deserved & probably should have been booted earlier. For fan's of KH can you please tell me what he achieved ? Failed drill on Bomono (didn't drill deep enough ? ) Costs out of control & withheld info to shareholders on the results. Why on earth should anyone have anything good to say about him ? | uggy100
17/11/2017 12:00 | A reflection of interest in BLVN since the clowns took control!!!! The share price tanking back to the 20s shows the need for open communication.. it appears the clowns have taken a leaf out of Kevs book... Time for an EGM to sack the clowns... better to have no-one in charge and no board... just the cash and assets in the bank and then a shareholder vote on any asset bids... A Rudderless ship is better than a sinking ship!!!!!!! | pjj71
16/11/2017 15:55 | Biggish volume today, COC hoovering up I think, expect we might get an RNS tomorrow about it. | kbrook
16/11/2017 11:10 | Hold your nerve, I suspect we will see plenty of price movement in the coming 6 months. I dont think COC will take out the company they will have to pay a fair price not the lowest average and I doubt have the funds. They will want just under 30% that make sense, besides would not look good shareholders in future deals like this, if the shareholders get hosed! | benjimun
16/11/2017 06:44 | Getting to be a lonely thread isn't it PJ | jamiedodge
16/11/2017 06:00 | EGM needed to oust the clowns... Even during Kev's darkest hours the share price never tanked in such rapid fashion against a generally supportive oil backdrop... as always the silence is deafening as they destroy our capital... | pjj71
15/11/2017 22:19 | Looks wrong to me, lowering price to buy more or do a reverse takeover? | gark
15/11/2017 18:00 | 20 odd % drop in a few days. If only it went up that fast. All on low volume after what seemed a reasonable set of results. Thoughts anyone? | kbrook |
