12/1/2022 07:16 | " No assessment of potential diamond grade has been made at this stage. " Keeps the narrative going , just spinning this out for another year or more . The Clontarf way , better to travel than to arrive. | fenners66
11/1/2022 14:33 | Diamond market is up and looks like going higher over the last while, I would think Vast are out of cash so no good there. T R is the main deal and update expected soon, I would think it will be good? | ein4
11/1/2022 14:18 | Top up day? | elmfield
10/1/2022 22:49 | Slippage in graph....someone heard something? | pjl4
10/1/2022 11:58 | It's frustrating waiting for this to explode, which it surely will. News must be on its way soon for TR, perhaps it's just taken a bit longer to find an expert to do the analysis. | holdingtight
10/1/2022 09:07 | Nope, got that wrong, no news. BOD has been silent for a while now. No modelling of Thorny River, and no news about Ghagoo. Presumably, BOD are looking for an alternative partner to replace Vast in the deal, because it's obvious that Vast are not going to be able to fulfil their obligations. | tigerbythetail
09/1/2022 09:56 | Just to note there was a double price extension on closing here today, and also the same on Vast. I'm not sure if this oddity means anything at all. But it could be the prelude to news on Monday morning - maybe about Ghagoo. | tigerbythetail
23/12/2021 06:01 | No effect whatsoever I would have thought. I think the share price fully discounts anything bod might have in zimbabwe - which is zip. The value of bod is in thorny river, and perhaps gaghoo. Somehow I cant see vast, a $6 mill coy, stumping up in $4 mill debt for gaghoo as they claim. Vast must be close to being bankrupt imo, so it will be interesting to see how the vast and gaghoo stories play out. | atlas1234
21/12/2021 15:08 | IMO no impact whatsoever. With VAST they have a MoU to share past exploration data, and a commitment to move forward with any opportunities as a 50/50 JV. VAST don't look capable of looking forward, let alone moving forward. BOD have no other stated interests in Zim as far as I can find, so nothing lost. And BOD has plenty of non-zim, active and rich prospects to keep it busy. | slim pickings
21/12/2021 08:46 | Not sure the article makes comfortable reading. I wonder the possible impact for BOD. 'Because of the resurgence in isolation by European governments and the United States, Harare is increasingly preferring investors from China, Russia, Belarus and a several fringe nations that the Mnangagwa government is more comfortable with'. | pjl4
20/12/2021 14:34 | Vast's long agony continues. There is an article in the Zimbabwean press stating that the potential Marange diamond deal has been shelved indefinitely. The company has put out at RNS stating it "disagrees' with it. But it will be true enough, IMO. Ghagoo will sort itself one way or another, in time, I'm sure. I don't think Vast will still be BOD's partner at the end of it, though. | tigerbythetail
09/12/2021 09:39 | According to the interview with Stockbox yesterday it's very much still on. Whether it'll be done with Vast given its other issues, who knows, but there are alternative partners around I am sure. Not sure if we're allowed to post links but this is the interview, quite a few very interesting comments made re TR, Maibwe, Sekaka and KX36 as well as Ghaghoo: | perroverde
09/12/2021 09:19 | Take it not then, looks like early 2022 sale competition now from the info I have | davethehorse
07/12/2021 11:37 | Does anyone know anymore the Ghaghoo deal...is it going ahead or not? | davethehorse
07/12/2021 11:25 | FFFFOOOOOOKKA 69 still alive ? | emilio
06/12/2021 10:14 | catstick- may I say that fenners66 (and his mates)is a person/persons unknown who; does not know the difference between a footsie 100 company and an exploration company. posts 24/7. has not a clue between exploration, an EIAR or what it takes to build a mine-thinks it a lego game. appears as someone with nothing to do and all day to do it. | 1teemore
06/12/2021 09:42 | A very positive Chairman's statement from JT - I have not seen anything so positive from BOD for some time. This company is well positioned to break thru the exploration barrier into production, which will result in a re-rate. A compelling investment proposition at the current price of a penny. | atlas1234
06/12/2021 09:24 | Your spectacular ignorance of yhe exploration business does not cease to amaze. And thats before you get to diamond exploration, not forgetting what it takes to build any kind of mine. | atlas1234
06/12/2021 08:30 | I'm also happy with that. Excellent developments at Thorny River, and the signs are there that the impasse over Maibwe (which I hold high hopes for) will be resolved soon. I still don't understand how the Ghagoo deal closes, given Vast's problems. That's a "wait and see". | tigerbythetail
06/12/2021 08:00 | All moving in the right direction. | oldtimer169
06/12/2021 07:50 | As someone just posted on another board, theses figures are relatively irrelevant, the best bits are in the small print: “The drilling campaign in South Africa has been positive. The current modelling will assist in evaluating the commerciality of what we have; but note that our work has identified other anomalies likely to be blows, some of which are bigger than anything we have to date. The Marsfontein mine within kilometres of our blows was so rich in diamonds that the capital investment was paid back in 4.5 days.” | perroverde
06/12/2021 07:32 | Its an exploration company, they are expected to lose money while they look for diamonds which they seem to have done an exceptional job doing ... | catsick
06/12/2021 07:30 | Isn't it exciting on results day, finding out how much profit a company has made, what it's going to reward its shareholders in dividends with..... I see they Beat last years results.... Even larger Losses ! Total Comprehensive Loss £557k vs £495k Sorry no dividend for shareholders..... again.... But at least the Directors didn't suffer.... "Included in additions for the year are GBPNil (2020: GBP Nil) of share based payments, GBP14,225 (2020: GBP14,599) of wages and salaries and GBP65,553 (2020: GBP76,910) of directors' remuneration which has been capitalized. " | fenners66
04/12/2021 14:05 | There should be clarity on Maibwe towards the end of next month when PNR closes its transaction re BCL liquidation. | euclid |
