05/2/2023 09:48 | There is an interesting post on the other board, trying to estimate how much revenue (unencumbered by any costs) BOD will receive from the mining at Marsfontein / Thorny River. I quote: As a low estimate our share based on 400 tons a day throughput at 50 ctpt would give us (15%) = $90,000 per month based on $150 per ct I've got some quibbles with this. First, I'd up the percentage of revenue share to an overall average of 18% (15% for run of mill diamonds, 25% for special stones = average 18% in my book). But the real variable is the plant capacity the contract miner intend to employ. I've never seen any figure for this, but 400t per day seems (very) low. It would imply a Life of Mine at Thorny River of nearly 15 years (based on the existing 2m ton estimated resource), when (at least to my ears) James has always talked as if the mine life might be 2-3 years (similar to Marsfontein). Does anybody have any hard info on the plant capacity? Can anybody identify the equipment the contract miner is using from the photos on Twitter? | tigerbythetail
04/2/2023 10:45 | Had a top_up myself over the week, looking forward to a bit of afd early day action here | markfrankie
03/2/2023 20:59 | TBTT LSE board has lit up a bit with lots of posts, some more relevant than others! In any case, it’s all good as more people work out what’s happening here. BOD just needs to get on the radar, ideally ahead of JC and the team working their magic! | 799boy
03/2/2023 10:54 | And today we're off to the races. Which is good. Spread now 0.97p / 1p. But why not yesterday? BOD was as good a prospect then as it is now. Truly, AIM moves in mysterious ways! Anyhow, if all is going to plan, lots of good news to come here. | tigerbythetail
29/1/2023 14:46 | TBTT totally agree - Mr Market is Myopic - at best, as well as all those other things you mention! | perroverde
29/1/2023 14:25 | Another tweet. Looking good.https://twitter | atlas1234
28/1/2023 14:27 | Hi Perroverde! To be honest, I don't understand why anybody would sell these shares right now, short of having bailiffs kicking in the door! The market's asleep here. Never believe in the "efficient markets" hypothesis, which states that all shares are always rightly priced. IMO Mr. Market is a manic depressive veering between extremes of greed and fear. | tigerbythetail
27/1/2023 18:18 | Interesting also that the Vuitomi people have decided to keep their shares (so far!) - I gather they declined an offer to buy them. They of all people (James being one of them of course) should have a good idea of what lies in store in the coming months! | perroverde
27/1/2023 12:41 | Fully agree with you T B T T and I have waited a few years for this but I am sure it will pay off in a big way. I have built up a substantial stake over the years, it will be exciting. | ein4
26/1/2023 17:01 | Expect an RNS any day now re issue of second tranche of shares to Vutomi (which it looks like they are hanging on to, so far anyway) but also likely warrant conversion which should raise c£350k. Should preclude the need for the annual tin-shake for covering overheads. Positive news. (Although am a bit disappointed not to have the chance of getting a few more cheap shares from either or both of the above!). | perroverde
25/1/2023 14:32 | Another tweet... mobile.twitter.com/B | tigerbythetail
25/1/2023 11:49 | Also this. Big RNS must be incoming soon... | tigerbythetail
25/1/2023 09:44 | This is from yesterday, but I don't think it's been posted here. Well worth a listen. JC very clear, very succinct. www.youtube.com/watc | tigerbythetail
24/1/2023 16:26 | Absolutely Tiger. And of course they might decide to start paying a small but fairly regular divi. | holdingtight
24/1/2023 15:36 | I'll be holding on for Ghagoo and the pipeline of other prospects in the vicinity... that's the company maker. Thorny River et.Al. will generate useful cashflow to help achieve that, of course. | holdingtight
24/1/2023 14:16 | Hey TBTT Great to see you on here and agree with your sentiment entirely. You're the reason I'm invested here and have been for the last couple of years (no pressure). Lots of very long term holders and right now there's currently a lovely 'vibe' on here, LSE and Twitter as we watch BOD's story unfold. We're all looking for a good return on our investment but for me this is very much about seeing James and the team work their 'magic' - especially on Thorny River. Who knows what they will pull out of the ground when they get stuck in! Very exciting :) | 799boy
23/1/2023 09:49 | The next six months or so should be a lot of fun here! And why not? It's been a long wait! | tigerbythetail
20/1/2023 10:30 | Oh not Bramhill! I guess many people will recall Night Hawk. | pjl4
19/1/2023 12:45 | off topic but nice to hear David Bramhill giving the nod to our John Teeling: | markfrankie
19/1/2023 04:58 | Perroverde there will be value left at marsfontein given southern eras hasty exit from the property 20 or so years ago. Smart operation will unlock this. Gaghoo offers a unique opportunity to acquire a highly advanced project for minimal value so it will be in play in some form. | atlas1234 |
