I think the share is dogged by speculators. A wider group of more serious investors is needed, and I suspect there might be some traction being gained on this given recent movements.

RNS out at midday...

Botswana Diamonds ('BOD'), the AIM and BSE listed diamond explorer, is pleased to provide an update on the analysis of samples from the drill campaign on the Thorny River diamond project.

Initial indications from the sorting are positive. A two-week delay caused by local covid-19 issues means that the results will now be available mid-August.

The positive initial indications encouraged BOD to plan for additional drilling on the untested ground between the river and the already discovered kimberlite blows. Site preparation is underway.

(In short, small understandable delay on samples, otherwise all good. Looking forward to drilling. IMO, market hasn't realised significance of Thorny River yet).

South Africa been locked down for the last 4 weeks so very quiet there. Covid nos have declined though, and some very impressive vaccination stats, so action will be coming.

BOD is doing what juniors should be doing here - going where there is risk. Whether there is mayhem is not relevant where the geology is.

I certainly mentioned this fund raising at discount with free warrants that can be sold etc etc

Whilst this is ok for the few it does not really offer confidence to people considering buying.

This relentless sell off is frustrating. Downside of fund raising with warrants attached I suppose. Beats why they don't hang in to the though !
